News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

goes the clock, we laughed at fate and mourned her, tick tock goes the clock even for the monster

Monsters are never born, they are created. If anyone ever told you, that they were a Monster by birth, then they were lying through their teeth. A Monster does not become such a thing just by being able to survive the birthing process. No, the creature must first go through the process of becoming something so unnatural. When she was born, her pack had put her through the blood baptism, they had shed her blood and marked her. As she got older she was put through their system, learning how to kill at a much younger age, suffering the cold hardships. Some of her fellow littermates never survived. Each night they had to fight one another and only the strong survived. It wasn’t until she was nearly a year old when her markings were fully intact when it was revealed she was something much worse than her pack wanted her to be. She was chased out, nearly killed for being something she didn’t understand, and yet now she knew why they looked at her with so much fear and resentment. She lived on her own, not having a care in the world about her actions, never stopping to think that she could ever have a good life. She was created to be something completely different, and according to what she was told, she was even destined to be the living nightmare. Instead of running away from it, she accepted it, and lived with it. Yet she did not sign up to become this…a Monster bearing birth to a parasite.

The ebony creature moved quietly over the boundaries of Iromar. According to Andras, she was allowed to enter his realm. He made it crystal clear that he was interested in the parasite that was latched inside her. Apparently being an imprint with a Demon had some advantages. Her movements were well placed, her agile form was tainted by the slight bulge of her stomach. The various scars that were scattered along her obsidian pelt, glimmered like badges of honor underneath the glow of the silver moon. Her grey trimmed ears were pointed forward, constantly rotating as she picked up the various sounds. Her scent was mixed with Andras and Chael, a clear sign that she was a welcomed visitor should any disturb her or keep her from heading where she needed to go. Her mauled face from the mountain lion looked a bit cleaner, old muscle and bits of bone visible. Ensnared in her jaws was a few plump rabbits. As she walked her dial would tilt upwards seeing the figure of a loan raven flying ahead. She would follow it quietly, feeling some minor discomfort along her sides. They say that the wolf spirit and the raven spirit were tied together, both needed the other to survive. Legend had it that the wolf spirit fell in love with the raven, for it was the only creature that could match the wicked and clever mind of the wolf. It wouldn’t be long before she found herself coming towards an abandoned den. Sticking her head in the scent was faded, unused, it seemed that no one was really living in here. Content to take it as her own she stepped in and dropped the rabbits and curled up in a tight ball. The minor discomfort was increasing now. Closing her eyes she allowed instincts to kick in, allowing her body to natural deliver the pup with few minor problems. She was tired, she was sore, and the only thing that kept her sane throughout the process was the gentle cawing of the raven, a creature that symbolized Death.

As soon as she was finished delivering the parasite, she heard the sick sound of the thing falling into the ground. Snarling she remained lying down, angered to feel her body was feeling exhausted. She did not want to remain here in the cave. This parasite was for Chael. Chael wanted this pup and she would be damned to stick around any longer. She did as he wanted, she gave him a pup and she was ready to leave it behind. Yet when she turned her mauled and scarred she acutally took a look at the disgusting filth. As the small ebony creature squirmed closer to her, using its paws to tear itself out of the gunk that surrounded it, she noticed a small russet fleck along its forehead. Bringing her head closer, she poked it roughly with her cold nose, getting a better look at its face. The growls coming from the Monster ceased when she noticed exactly what had peeked her interest, the obsidian pup carried the similar marking on her forehead, the diamond shaped-like russet marking, creating a noetic memory putting the two and two together. She went quiet. Cold sapphire eyes softened as she moved her upper torso around grabbing the pup carefully between her teeth. Placing the pup at her side, near her stomach, she would lick it clean, feeling something odd wash over her. For a moment the cold-hearted creature was content with taking the time to care for the parasite that shared her same mark. As soon as the pup had its full she would grab it gently and place it between her paws.

The parasite was very quiet, a few cries came out every now and then. She would poke at it, taking note that she carried not a white spot on her. Yet she was bathed with russet along her ears, her legs, and behind her shoulder blades, running down her back. Eyeing the rabbits, she would take him and rip them gently with her teeth, at their bellies, picking the rabbits up and allowing the blood to fall on her pup. Once each rabbit’s blood was drained along her pup she noticed how the pup would poke its pink tongue out, lapping up the metallic crimson liquid. A warmth feeling spread in her chest as she watched with pride that this pest…this…child of hers was reacting appropriately. She would bring the blood drenched pup close to her, nuzzling it and lapping some of the blood off her. Her growls low, as she kept the pup close to her, lowering her head over the pup, protectively. Her ears twitched as she lifted her head noticing the familiar shape of the black bird that had led her to this very place. Tilting her dial, she looked to sleeping child and nudged her gently, her pink tongue washing the blood off her forehead that familiar russet marking that claimed her to be fated to be a monster. Her own sinister creation. This child of hers would become what she was, a Monster, a cold-hearted killer. Death did not take her to the other side, as he did with others similar to her…instead he raised and took her in. She was raised by Death, and so, she would honor the very being that had taken care of her the first night she was chased out of her home, beaten, bruised, and left for Death to claim. Whispering softly she looked to her child, the very thing in life she would serve to protect.

“Raven.”

She knew her daughters fate, and she would never abandon her as her own parents and pack did to her. She would take the child in, she would love the child, care for the child, and make the child her true prodigy. This creature named after the bird of Death would forevermore be the only creature she would ensure survival for. Could a Monster turn into a Mother? Only time could tell. Luckily for her and the fated pup, they had time on their side. Chael would approach his imprint, and see his cold-hearted beast act gentle with her blood bathed pup. Quite content.

The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.

The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack.
