The boy seemed... unsure, maybe even nervous. How odd, Judas could not help but think, for he'd never had the chance to meet a wolf like that. Even Alucard had been all too open and all too confident - he'd even claimed he'd kill another wolf for revenge! It just seemed silly to think there were wolves out there any different. Sure, he had been nervous when he had been much, much smaller but now? He had no issue going where he wanted, or even taking on challenges he had not yet faced. He'd been raised to be confident, if not nothing more than that. Perhaps one day that'd be his downfall but for now, it worked to his advantage. It seemed the other boy quickly loosened up in his presence. He dipped his head in another silent greeting, giving his tail a few stiff waves before he turned to watching the darkness ahead of them once more. It seemed interesting enough and honestly, he was curious to see how well he'd fair in such an environment - he'd never been in one like it. The other boy being there was just a happy coincidence and certainly not one he would be complaining about any time soon. A boy his age needed friends, anyway, especially one's that were willing to explore. "Let's stop thinking and start doing." He cocked his head, his lips turning up into a mischievous grin. He was sure his body posture would say it all anyway, even if the light had a difficult time finding his face - he moved with a slack pace, ambling forward with a confident stride until he moved beside the taller boy. It was then that the boy spoke to introduce himself, and Judas turned to better face him, again offering a few awkward waves of his tail. As much as he wanted to make friends, he still found it a little... new. He hadn't needed to befriend his siblings and the other times, he didn't get into such formalities. "Nord? Pleasure's mine. Name's Judas." He paused for a moment before breathing out, his breath trailing off into a quiet chuckle as he felt his way forward. He wasn't kidding about starting their exploration but still, it would be slow going he imagined. The ground below them was cloaked in darkness and judging by the echoes, it was going to be that easy - the cave was deep and endless, and full of risk. Risk was exciting though and he could feel his heart pounding in anticipation as he moved ahead some feet. "I don't suppose you've explored somewhere like this before, have you?" He called back to the boy, turning his head back to face him as he waited ahead, eagerly awaiting his new found companion to join in on the exhilaration. |
