Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

With Spring came another year for the alabaster girl of the angel line. She was so obviously of the bloodline, with her pristine white pelt, her stardusted angel mark between her shoulders, and even her bright and ever expressive violet irises. These irises were so intricately flecked and slivered with orange and emerald that one easily got lost within them. They said her gaze spoke wonders, spoke eons to others, and this Ambrosia held no doubt it. For while she exceeded in some areas, she lacked severely in others.

Such as the posession of a soul. The girl had no such thing, as her brother had told her so many nights ago. All others born in the world had their other half, their soul- their imprint. But Ambrosia? She was a being without a soul, a lost half without a whole.

It plagued her thoughts often, and she wondered at what made her so.. different. What set her apart. Why was she broken? Andromeda had taught her that all things have their thoughts, their feelings, there opinions. That there was no true right or wrong, and that it was all about perception and how one simply felt. But Ambrosia herself was different. And did that make her wrong? It did not matter how others saw it, but herself? Everyone around her was right in their other halfs, even if they had not yet found them. The stardusted angel girl did not have a soul, and she was torn to know if she was right or if she was wrong. She felt wrong, simply because everyone else.. was different. She was different. It was all a very perplexing thing, and that was why she found herself out of the packland. This would only be the third time venturing out on her own, but at two years she was half grown, slowly reaching a height that would challenge that of all her siblings. She had never met the oldest of the brood, but one day she would figure just how big they themselves were.

She had left Diveen in the early morning, and it was now late morning, the Spring sun high and warm in the sky. But it wasn't the sweltering heat that Summer brought- rather, it was pleasant and crisp. Fresh. Ambrosia was enjoying herself upon the shore of the lake, her large and evergrowing white form relaxed at at ease. That wasn't to say her ears weren't twitching and alert to everything around her, or that her senses weren't intune- but the girl had a way of simply enjoying herself. Of finding herself at one with the earth, feeling the pulse, the breath of the soil. It wasn't often that others seemed to feel the same, but Andromeda, her Mother, did. Her brother, Mithos, and even Starfall- they had to do with the night sky and the stars, the very heavens themselves. Ambrosia was grounded fully here upon the soil, and she longed to have roots deep within to hold her there as well. One could certainly day dream, and it was with a soft sigh and a bright gaze that she took in the lake before her and all it's cerulean beauty. There were others around, as there always were- but today was a day of peace and quiet. Who knows if it would be disrupted or simply added on- all one could do was wait to find out.
