The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

"What do you want, Sebastian?", while her words came out somewhat blunt, the titan could sense the softness that she had naturally carried within her voice. Why had he approached the ess? Certainly, it was not to test the new blood -- his superiors had not commanded him to. Perhaps it was the fact that the fae looked somewhat alone in the trees of Abendrot? Or was it simply because she aroused his curiosity? Either way, his thoughts were soon disrupted as her voice edged through the cool air once again, this time much less harsh as her arctics glanced up and towards him.

"Suppose I best get along with a comrade, no? Sorry, but I hold little to no respect for demons such as yourself. The exceptions would be the demon king himself and the ranked minions under him. You however I don't find I need to explain myself."

Sebastian was a naturally calm lupine -- though, when the vixen's choice of words reached his auds, he could feel the irritation slowly rising as his muscular build began to tense. The lifelessness within his mask never changed however, it remained a blank canvas as his amber pools bore into the ice glaziers of the ivory and russet pelted demoness who had laid before him. He remained silent for a considerable amount of time before he had found himself with the capability of gathering his voice to speak, his tone smooth and somewhat calm for such an insult.

"Are you suggesting that you hold respect for any demoness? And only none for a demon, besides your superiors? If so, that is where you've been mistaken, Hestia. You may find yourself in much trouble with that statement. However, that is a personal matter and I will not edge the subject on unless you'd please.

Though, I don't require you to respect me, as I must say that I have little respect for the likes of you, also. You simply must deal with me and have the capability of fighting alongside me whenever the time may come."
