Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

"Sweet mother, sweet mother, send your child unto me; for the sins of the unworthy must be baptized in blood and fear.."

Finally, a time had come when his father had recognized his devotion to upholding the demon code and he had been chosen to embark on his first task to seek out his aunt within the confines of Glorall. Perhaps this was not the first place in which he had imagined his mission to take place, still, he did not complain. He was just as eager to complete this simply because he had not been assigned someone else to accompany him and this simple truth set him on the trail earlier than he had initially planned.

The journey itself should not take him any longer than a day, seeing as Iromar and Glorall are practically neighbors, if it weren’t for the thick forest that separated them both. So he set out at dawn, intent on arriving at the seaside pack by midday if there were no surprises in between.

His trek was quite enjoyable for the most part as he relished in the idea that, should he succeed in this task, he would soon be upon the path to rise into a rank of greatness. That though alone is what set him continually forward toward his destination. In truth, he wished - if only for a moment - that he had some company in the middle of his route. He was duty driven and rarely did he ever think of play with his other siblings, even Siren, though he did wish it were different at times. She was always young at heart and whether she would remain this way for the rest of her life was unknown to Naberius - but he could not compromise his drive to become one of worthiness in Andras’ eyes for simple games. It was not in his nature. And yet, he enjoyed his sister’s company despite her efforts to deter him from his responsibilities. Her adventurous outlook upon life was refreshing and perhaps it could instill a bit of such risk-taking into his own.. Though it is a small chance.

The sun is high above the earth now as he arrives upon Glorall’s doorstep, his nares flaring to inhale the saltiness of the strong breeze that now billows through his thick fur. He is here to seek out one and only one - and so he keeps himself from crossing their border as he lifts his handsome head to the sun and calls out to Rogue. She is the one who has wandered and found herself lost amongst those of diluted blood. He is here to return her to where it is that she truly belongs.
