ONLY DEATH AND LOVE CHANGE ALL THINGS
Time always felt as though it stood still when Midas was around
Breathing in the sea breeze slowly and with a steady beat Sylvia stood quiet allowing her daughter to be embraced in her father’s touch. Prior she stood exactly how she is now only staring back at her beloved who did the same. In his bronze gaze she saw hope and trust. She saw that love was and always had been there and in the past only lessons had to be learned. Although Sylvia would never speak of it aloud – Midas leaving and returning had been a blessing in disguise. It left them stronger and more in love than ever.
Finally after a life long wait they could start their lives together
Sylvia watched staring deeply into her beloved’s eyes as her daughter came forward and Midas wrapped her in a hug. It did not take but seconds for her daughter to poor everything out to them. Sadness and anger washed over Sylvia knowing full well just how her daughter felt. Unforinitely the pearl mare was not sure what to say other than what the normal reaction would be of telling Claire that she could stay here and either wait for Dexter to come around or find someone else
It was the first time in her life that Sylvia was speechless with her own daughter
Midas much to Sylvia’s surprise dove right in and she felt so incredibly relieved that he saved her from not knowing what to say. Pulling her gaze away from Midas she studied Claire for a moment as she stepped forward before looking directly back at Midas. Moving her ears back Sylvia was trying to thank him for taking over without having to voice it. His words were stern and factual making her smile at fall a little bit more in love with him.
Claire however was completely shocked by her father’s outburst
Her eyes were wide and all she could do was stare at him and wait for him to finish. – unfortunately even when he had he looked between herself and her mother as if daring them to object in anyway. Now Claire did not remember much of her father when she was younger but this sort of temperament definitely wasn’t something she remembered him being or doing. –ever
She soaked in his words though despite her shock and felt relieved at his last statement of her parents finding her a suitable mate.”I’d really like if you guys would daddy” turning to bury her face back into his chest Claire breathed in his wild musty scent, completely getting lost in how wonderful it felt to feel like daddy’s little girl – the one that was robbed from her at childhood
Sylvia bumped her own nose with his and brushed her lips against his affectionately ”thank you my everything for being so supportive of her even being all grown up’ glancing at her daughter Sylvia watched her for a moment before she pulled her head up to stare into Midas’s beautiful eyes once more ”where ever you want to send her will do with me. It’s what you originally wanted since she was a little girl, and now you finally have the chance to do it”
