Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

He was handsome. The younger pup couldn't help but think this as the male approached. There must have been something in her eyes that made him stall. She watched as he paused almost mid-stride and gave her the space she needed to feel comfortable. It didn't take long for her to feel safe and wanted in his presence. Though the imprinting did not affect her the same way it did for Zaqar, Gaia still felt the power that drew them together. After she had introduced herself she took a small step closer to the dark male with a smile on her face. It felt foreign, the smile. How long had it been since it graced her face? Far too long.

He spoke, saying his name was Zaqar, and asked her why she was running. Why indeed. Perhaps Gaia didn't know the real reason she had run away from the group. It had been several months since the attack from the random witch and her wounds had all healed. But there was still fear in her heart that she was always there, waiting for her chance to finish what she started. And who was to say that other massive wolves wouldn't come for Gaia and make a meal of her? What was stopping them from devouring her? With her gimp back legs it wasn't like she could run away very far or fast. She was defenseless...

That was before she had met her imprint. Though she may not fully understand it now, Gaia had a guardian and a friend to the end. Zaqar would keep her safe from all harm and when she was stronger, both in mind and body, she would try to return the favor. The smile stayed on her lips as she took another step closer. "I don't like large groups of wolves. You never know which one of them might try to hurt you."

The wind suddenly shifted and brought Zaqar's scent to Gaia. It was then that she smelled Iromar on his fur and her ears perked up. Did he live in the same pack as she did? How had they not met yet?
"You're from Iromar too, aren't you? Are you... a demon?" Gaia had heard of the demons from her father, Iblis. She didn't know that he was one of their most hated enemies or that he had gone to war against Iromar. She only knew that he had had nothing good to say about the black and red wolves who called themselves demons. What would he say if he found out that his only daughter had been imprinted upon by the very creature he had sworn to vanquish? It all seemed funny to the pup and she let a little, mischievous giggle escape as she listened to Zaqar.
