Vesti
So, is this really better? Is this really what you wanted? Vesti snorted at the rogue thought, poking at her from her position of rest. The sun was beginning it's tilt towards the horizon. I thought you wanted to be social again. This is exactly the same as the deep however now there's two other antisocial creatures just as bad as yourself.
"I don't hear you complaining before," Vesti muttered aloud. Sometimes it made her feel better to hear a voice. She did not see Orhan or El Aran about, which is why she felt secured in speaking to herself. Her head was low as it was, so it might be taken as talking in her sleep. She was quite concerned about her madness. She knew her son at one point had asked if such things were contagious - if he too would hear voices.
Vesti felt that her demon was hers alone. It had been a driving force in her life. It served to poke at her, to drive her insanity deeper. It had only grown stronger during her exile. It kept her alive, if only for its own benefit. She knew she was in control of her body - which was the only reason the Voice taunted her.
So? I only begin to complain when you stop doing things. Vesti snorted again. She shook her head as if to shake out the angry, pointed words. You should know by now gestures like that just don't work. Vesti pinned her ears against her head and adjusted her stance. The motion was as if to keep the winds out.
So funny, Vesti, but it isn't going to work on me. Vesti could almost swear it laughed. You can't drown me out. Can't get rid of me.
"Shut up," She closed her eyes. That doesn't work either. Vesti snorted, spying her own reflection in the clear water of the pool. She could almost see it contort, controlled by the Voice. It laughed at her. She lifted up a hoof and splashed out the image, the laugh distorting with the ripples. "Just shut up!"
