I must say I am not sure how I feel about everything going on with my home. With Spring it seemed that I am graced with new siblings, however even as I sit over my foster mother’s den letting them rest I cannot help but wonder what will lay before me. The only thing that had been constant in my life in fact had been Spirane. Perhaps Moon Glow and Alcide had been in and out of my life all this time yet my home had been stable. Would it still be home though if my foster parents were not the ones to lead it? This I am uncertain and quite honestly I do not wish to think about any other outcome than Moon Glow winning this challenge. Purge I hear from the birds and tales in the wind had challenged Diveen on three occasions only to lose all three times. It is no wonder she had given up her claim to the home of Angel’s yet why she chooses now to claim the mountain is beyond me.

I am not sure what this Purge is like, but I cannot say I think much of her currently. After all she is the one who challenged an alphess who recently has bore pups and was of Ill health. Maybe that was the reason she had chosen to challenge, but it was cowardly. How can I respect someone who does not at least wish for a fair fight? I will say Moon Glow left with a look in her eye I had never seen before. It was not like the time she had battled with Snowshoe, where she was simply wishing to prove her leadership, she looked calm that day and wished not to have to battle family. Well what’s done was done, I could only sit and wait to see what would happen.

I would have been content with my thoughts and the sounds of the spring song birds around me but it seems that someone calls for me. I rise, checking the den to make sure Idunn and Haven were still safely tucked within before heading down the mountain path myself. My form ripples gold with each movement, thick muscles carrying me with ease to the source. Up top the mountain I didn’t notice the fresh scent of the new comer but as I come closer it is thick in my nares, along with a tinge of blood. I huff at the scent clearing it from my nose slowing my pace as my mahogany and golden form comes within view of the pair.

My eyes first land on the stranger who looks battered, being an up and coming Orion, head hunter, of the pack I can tell they are not from another wolf. Why someone would so abashedly hunt something larger than they are capable of handling is beyond me, for I know things that are capable of causing such wounds are not generally meals for a single wolf. That or he was just careless in his hunts.

”You called for me, Miss Natu.” I ask my soft songlike voice ringing in the clearing. I will let them tell me what it is they want, we have passerby’s all the time. I look over the male again, before turning my gaze back to the smaller wolfess, my visage passive waiting for one of them to explain why it is they had summoned me.
