Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Unsure, so very unsure. Her nails click lightly against stone surface as she progresses along, ears swiveling in all directions to catch any hint of sound other than the maddening beat of her own footsteps. Click, click, click, click, she can hear it in her head even when her perfect beat pauses for only a moment, just for her to continue after a short period of observation. And she stops again, head rising to it's apex in an effort to see something other than gray rocks for miles. And there's nothing. Her head tilts to look uphill from her position, only to see more rocks piercing the horizon, sticking up at jagged angles to stab angrily at the sky god.

It's when the wind begins to whisper in her ears that she moves again, changing her path so she's moving up the hill rather than parallel to the skyline on flatter terrain. It's now that the going gets difficult. She's got to watch her feet carefully, make sure the rocks that she steps on aren't going to crumble underneath her. Bright yellow eyes widen as she reaches the top of the sharp rock, huffing quietly as she catches her breath, Story has never been one who enjoyed exerting effort, she'd much rather just lay back and spend her days in the sun.
