He was much farther from home. His mother, father, nor brother would be permitting of his adventure but they did not spend much time with him. Really brother was teaching and spending more time with him now but still he had a wondering mind and a drive to explore and cause trouble… even though it usually meant he was getting in trouble too. What else could they expect out of the demon and trickster child? They could be a little boring with their rules sometimes but at least normally he could do play without being seen leaving. Truly it was a talent to avoid the others when leaving.

It was surprising he had not run into any dangerous animals or things that would harm him. Perhaps the fates just where kind to the child but now his little limbs carried him further and further to a new place with even more smells. A small voice like his sisters caught his attention no it was just the female tone but give the pup some credit he had much to learn about scents and sounds. It was always easier to compare them to something he knew.

He watched staying in the shadows and funny grass that lingered around the area. The small girl is chasing something but he does not know what and so lingers closely trying to stay hidden behind the girl. He has seen mother do this once or twice and tries to mimic how she had done it. He tries to get closer before bolting out and pouncing on the girl. Just like mother had done with the bid sharp horned beast. He did not get to see much but knew she ran and jumped on the thing so it had to be simple enough right?

He lined himself up behind the girl using his ever muddy limbs to propel him forward to tack this creature. He looks over her with a new curiosity trying to stand over her and keeping his face from hers, he speaks. “Not my pack either?” He asked with a puppy like tone; “What is your name? I am Nogitsune.” He said proudly looking her over once more in victory. “What where you chasing?” he asks. He has not played many games in his life but he liked to learn new ones. Perhaps his youthful ways disappointed his mother but he could learn better. He will be a great demon but what is a trickster without any games?
