Perhaps he shouldn't have told the poor boy to man up, he couldn't say that he would have run considering having already tried to take on Tobias in the first place on his own with the help of the Iromar female but he wasn't like the black boy, he was a fighter through and through and had been brought up a different way. It also didn't help that he really only had eyes for the one Tobias. The training he has had from his previous packs and his wandering life-style, the last encounter with this male, all tells him to stay on his toes, to be fully aware no matter what comes in the way. There is blood curdling screams around him as the others dive in for a bit of the action and yet all the while he is silent in his attack, the only words come from his mouth is a death wish for the one Tobias and it is spoken as if in a conversation. Tobias turns just as Beowulf leaps off the ground to try and grapple for room on the males back end and just as he's about to reach the apex of his leap the other male jumps as well.
Their collision would be one for the history books as Beowulf grunts and extends the reach of his front legs and shortens up one of his rear legs looking to use it to scrape down the belly of the beast several times and take with it what flesh it could. His front limbs grapple as Tobias's do and his teeth flash in quick motions. Though he was larger in mass that Tobi the other male was taller than him by a few inches, his back leg still stretched touches down on the ground and when the other has it's fill of Tobias belly it to takes it's place on the ground to lift Beowulf a bit higher and allow his front paws to wrap around the other. In this close contact battle there will be many wounds on both sides and Tobias is already injured by the others. He can feel flesh being pulled and ripped from the lift side of his neck and his own jaws snap for the head of the male wrestling with him to bring him down to the ground, he is silent without a single bark or growl until the sweet scent of his own blood lifts to his nose and he grunts as pain seers through his entire left side. The impact of their collision had brused his chest and winded him slightly but he is determined not to let go. He is determined to end this where it stands.
Beowulf had aimed for the demons eye in hopes to rip it from it's socket and cause as much damage as possible so the beast wouldn't make it far, wouldn't make it back to whatever hole in the ground he'd claimed and heal himself again so that he could back for more. Though truthfully this never ending rivalry was something he could quiet possibly need. No, he is determined to end it but if not, he will hunt down Tobias to the ends of the earth and kill him. Tobias tries to bash him out of the way as Beowulf lets his head lean backwards, his paw slips on a patch of moss and he's pushed free of the struggle that he was so viciously into. He see's the black form leap free of the gathering attackers and as his body hits the ground he rolls onto his belly and is off again before anyone else has a chance, or so he assumes. Heyel is in front of the creature with Beowulf not far behind Tobias, Beowulf has lived in many different lands and the change in scenery from Diveen to Tavoria does not take him off guard. His paws use the roots of the tree's to propell him faster and faster. He may be a bit on the heavy side but he was leaner than most of the attackers.
He's also trained himself to be quick, no matter the size, this is why he uses the tree roots to propell him faster instead of causing hinderance to him, a good assassin will use the landscape to his advantage. The white wolf leaps free of the shadows and grapples for Tobias, finding purchase and then... being dragged? If this was any other situation the normally grave Beowulf might have been given to laughter, perhaps later while they heal from their wounds they can all have a good laugh about how the Great Heyel was dragged through Tavoria by the creature. Beowulf wishes to take part of this man's pelt back to Diveen for Chernobyl and he wont let Tobias get away that easily. Pain flashes through his left side with each step he takes as he glides seamlessly through the forest blending in with the bushes as he tries to run on the opposite side of the two wolves that Heyel was on and perhaps take Tobias out from the side. Coza is there to, quickly catching up to them as he goes for the back leg. This time Beowulf aims to bite for the shoulder of Tobias, aiming to add his own weight to the duo's and this time they would take this monster down and be done with him, once and for all.
