Romance is in the air...this is probably the most beautiful and scenic place in Blossom Forest. For the athletic and determined to come with their mates, for time away from pups. Only adults may come here; some of the ledges are too far apart for teens or pups to cross and some too high to scale.

One reason I was going to such a mushy place was because I wanted to see if my sister Hestia had been up these cliffs. My second reason was because I wanted to get away from the younger annoying sister. If I didn't find my eldest sister here then at least the journey wouldn't be a complete waist. Each step I carefully placed; so I wouldn't loose footing and plummet to the hard bottom. For sure though, this place was quiet for the most part. Besides the sound of water of course.

When I was somewhat out of breath from the climb, I took a short break. My icy optics taking in the scenery. Slowly I raised my cranium and an arch of colors broke the light blue of the sky. I've never seen this thing before, what is it called? Does it have any purpose besides being aesthetically pleasing? Shaking my head I stopped thinking about the colorful arch in the sky. Continuing my climb, finally reaching the top, after almost loosing my footing on a slippery boulder. A sigh of relief escaped my pail pink nares as I was glad I didn't fall.

My name maybe Death, but I was certainly not ready to face death itself. When I gathered my bearings I scanned the area. Hestia wasn't even near here. Her scent doesn't even seem to be up this cliff. Wonderful, just wonderful. Either way I'm away from Life and that counts for something. I swear at times I could feel my ears falling off from her unrelenting nagging. 'Brother where is sister?', 'Death I'm hungry!', and 'You're such an idiot and a useless male!'. Seriously a few times I was about to bite her and throw her in a river.

Not paying attention to my surroundings I just kept walking to the cliff edge. With my head low until I saw a glimpse of the colorful arch. My eyes trained on this interesting sight, when I shifted my stance I side rubbed against something. Quickly my ears flew tightly back to my cranium and I whipped my head around. A girl was standing there. My eyes widened with panic. Great a GIRL. Death you big imbecile! I was screaming at myself in my head. Swallowing hard, I tucked my tail between my hind legs and backed up slowly. This girl was many, many brown hues and had hints of red scattered about her pelt.

Pardon my incompetents ma'am. I was tranced by the colorful thing in the sky and carelessly bumped into you. Please accept my apology.

Even though I didn't like talking with others, I knew and had enough manners to at least apologize. Hopefully it wouldn't cause to big of a problem and we could be mature about the issue. Doubtful though, since my luck is crap. I kept my icy orbs locked on the vixen, making sure she didn't turn aggressive and go for my throat or something.
