today's exciting news is that a brown-headed cowbird has showed up at the feeders

a number of robins have been dropping by, a mixed flock of about 40 RWBs and grackles fill the air with sound, drowning out the softer sound of goldfinches and purple finches

a drive down Victoria Road on Sunday revealed snow buntings, robins, tree sparrows and Canada geese and gulls on the Talbot River
