At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

It had been two weeks, slow weeks at that, since Moni had last traveled. For the last two long weeks she had been taking refuge at the falls, healing from her fall from Rainbow Cliff. She had torn muscles in her back, sprained a paw, and had gotten all scraped up and bloodied all because of one older female who had decided to yell at her. The incident had startled and scarred her so much that she had become a bit distanced and submissive, not despising company but fearing it. Moni had only been sleeping when the female tripped over her, it wasn't like she bit her paw when she walked by, like she wished she would have.

By now her scrapes were scabbed over and healing nicely, beginning to truly fade away like the dull aching in her back and paw. The cooling massage of the falls had helped cleanse her open wounds and help ease the tension in her sprains and tears, and she felt the need to begin 'physical therapy'. Head low, tail tucked, and ears flat, the hunched over wolfess slowly walked towards an unknown destination, mind focused on staying alert and keeping low to the ground.

When the smell of other wolves and the sound of fresh water slowly lapping at a shore beyond the trees reached her, her face was instantly masked by a warm smile yet her posture remained the same; submissive. Tail wagging close enough to her rump that it touched the insides of her rear legs, she looked around like a puppy trying to get out of trouble; eyes large, smile friendly, and tail wagging a mile a minute. Eyes coming to rest on a young male who also seemed frightened and distanced, Moni made her way to him, head low to the ground as only her eyes moved up to look at him.

"Hello, I thought you looked lonely, so I wanted to say hi." She spoke, tone low and soft, not to bring him unease or cause herself harm by making somebody angry.
