At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

It's quiet in Mizuki's mind. There were no real goals set in her life, she wandered aways in one direction and turned to wander some in another. Her life was a wave, reaching for the shores only to pull away again. In a way, it was too much. And, in a way, it was calm. Too calm.
She was still fresh in the forest, coming across only a few acquaintances. Two mentally unstable wolves.
The brute was a rotting corpse, still breathing, and the fae his crutch. Though on the outside they acted harsh and cold, Mizuki felt a certain warmth within them, and she could see that glow even if they didn't want to see it themselves. They concealed those little lights with all the misery and rage they felt, but Mizuki could see them and how caring they deny themselves to be.
Mizuki wished she knew how to reach out and relieve their burdens, but she was clueless. She herself was still coping from her rugged childhood, still unable to fully forgive and forget the one someone who was supposed to encourage her and lift her up. While at the time, she too masked her emotions with a tough exterior, now Mizuki realized that her love and sympathy and the drive to care for and mend a broken heart was deeper than her pain and anger. She couldn't let her mother's actions cause her to feel cold towards the world, so she did her best to lock it away and focus on the now.
She sauntered to the water's edge and laid down, eyes staring into nothing.
