Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

I can see that she is not completely thrown off by my words and I find hope in this. I was hoping she wouldn't discount the position as King's Guard is nothing to be scoffed at. I find it ironic that she would be defending the thing she tried to destroy in battle....myself, but I think it will give us some time to work things out maybe. Maybe I will get a chance to understand my sister better and know why she turned away so quickly from family. She must see the caution in my gaze because she calls me on my words, challenging me but still gives in. My eyes narrow somewhat, ears pricking forward as my tail gives a steady sway behind me. As always, patience wins out over my father's short temper when it comes to me.

"You know the answer to that already, Stella."

She comments next on the attitude she expects to receive from the other wolves of Diveen. I do admire her resilience, knowing that she will be walking into the lion's pit so to speak after our battle. She can't very well blame the pack for disliking her after challenging me for the throne but I do admire her bravery to face it anyway and her determination to come out ahead even so. I can't help but smirk a little.

"We are more alike than you'd ever like to admit. I take it you'll accept the position?"

I know that she enjoys putting herself apart from her peers and yet she's not the first to walk into a pit of snakes who'd like nothing more than to sink their fangs in and never let go. I remember well going to Iromar when Ishtar ruled. She enjoyed calling me the paper king, talking of how fragile our kingdom was in Diveen and how easily it would fall. She imagined me to playing pretend when it came to being a king and she didn't think our pack would last. When we went to war, I'm sure she was expecting nothing less than victory but defeat was all she tasted. She met the strength of Diveen that day and came out on the bottom. Where was my paper crown then?

And speaking of old leaders...

His cologne causes my nostrils to wrinkle. Stella is right, bad timing is all this is. Can't he see that Stella is not in need of whatever services he's selling today? I remember his form well from when he roamed the caverns of Mirovis. I was just a pup then but Devil knew of him as did Heyel. From what I gathered, Isola's father never liked him much. I didn't know he had returned to Moladian but I don't think he's been really putting himself out there to be found anyway. Seems Stella made a new friend though. She always did like the darker types.

And yet when I glance at her, I see the distaste in her glare. She is not pleased to see him here either. She seems to be concerned about how I'll react. I do not take kindly to him barging in but who am I to demand him leave when it seems he only wants her company? It's odd to see any male getting so cozy with my sister but I'm sure on some level, Lucian wants to get that protective rise from me and so I wont' satisfy him with it. My ears flick back in unison with her own as she snarls at him to back down, her voice a clear warning as she implies that he get lost. Ever the prideful creature, my sister.

I glance at Lucian, eyes showing nothing more than open curiosity.

"Long time, Lucian. The years have not been kind to you. No caves to skulk around in?"

My eyes narrow just the tiniest amount, gleaming with play as my tail flicks behind me. I did notice the looks he gave me, as if he'd like nothing more than to wear my fur as a coat. I dare say it'd look better than his ratty old fur but I like it on my own shoulders, thank you very much. Let him play his dominance game. Would he really stoop so low as to attack an injured alpha? It would be a blow to his own pride and my pack would hunt him down as they are to Tobias right now. I can play word games and with a little time, I can play the physical games as well. Let him have his laugh because I've earned my place on the throne just as he did so many years ago.
