Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

The base of the mountain was shrouded in forest, fog concealing the flora. Little lights flittered and danced all throughout the trees, clearly visible in the misty evening. The sun was distant now, creating a canvas of warm pinks and oranges. Just on the edge of a clearing, Mizuki rested, patiently watching as the sky faded to a deep blue.
The forest seemed so quiet to her, but she guessed that's just the way it is everywhere. Quiet. Peaceful.
Too much time to ponder on questions.
Her coat was dull, reflecting her mood since she arrived in Blossom Forest. Its been lonely, but not so much so with Hestia and Filius. But perhaps their company was too cold, not the kind of company Mizuki would enjoy, nonetheless, it was something. And she might have taken a liking to them, though she knows each moment spent with them will be full of rude comments and hostile gestures despite how welcoming Mizuki may be. A little tolerance can shape her well, she need not lose patience nor temper. This is what she left for, to find peace, and she found it. Her goal now was to become someone she and others could love and enjoy and confide in.
She tipped her head as a light winked in front of her, interrupting her musings. It flickered again, centimetres away from her nares. She snapped quickly in instinctual pursuit, but mysteriously feeling nothing on her pallet. It blinked again in a sort of tease, hovering just above her paws. She made an audible sigh of complaint and booped the light, capturing it under her pads. She gently, carefully lifted her paw to find an insect, and without hesitation she shoved her maw to the dirt where it crawled, grasping it with her teeth. Its little legs and wings tickled her mouth, and she flicked her tongue over her lips until the bug was in her mouth. Then she swallowed.
She glance at her sides, almost expecting her own body to light up but to her dismay, she didn't.
She snorted and rest her head on her paws.
Boo.
