PERSONALITY
Arbitus is quiet and reserved. Despite his large amount of energy, Arbitus saves it for threatening encounters, and seems constantly on alert for one, being able to ration his energy prevent him from being loud, sociable, or excitable.

HISTORY
Arbitus was once the hunter for his pack, being on alert constantly to find food, and being very efficient. His pack was very solitary and very unfriendly.

However, one day, the pack was attacked by a large group of fighting wolves, well over double the size of Arbitus' pack, who claimed to be a battle group from a larger "nation". Arbitus' pack was captured by the fighters and forced into labor, being turned into warriors for the nation and food gatherers for the masses. However, Arbitus was out hunting when he witnessed his pack being taken away.

Arbitus realized he could not save his pack, so he fled, guarding the land where his pack had hunted. He returned to camp one day when he realized that large amounts of these wolves had moved into their old camp, expanding their 'nation' to his land. For two months, Arbitus hid himself, stealing their food and marking his scent while the wolves were away, confusing the wolves and striking fear into them. However, the new settlers were able to send in help, and another battle group arrived, found Arbitus, and attempted killing him. Arbitus fled his homeland, never to return.

Arbitus eventually found himself at the pack boundaries of a larger pack than he was used to. A border patrol took him in, and he once again became a hunter. After a couple of weeks, another battlegroup from the "wolf nation" arrived, seizing control of the camp. However, Arbitus' new pack fought back, being able to overpower the battlegroup and take back the camp. However, after the battlegroup fled, three more arrived, and the pack was decimated. Arbitus was mortally injured, however, a splinter remnant of the pack that fled took Arbitus with them.

By the time Arbitus returned to full health, the remnant of the pack was very far away from their old land. Eventually, they found themselves with a new pack, however Arbitus said that they should not settle at this new pack, as they would likely be found and destroyed in a matter of months, or even weeks. Exhausted from moving, the others disagreed, and Arbitus kept moving, for about a month of travel, finding himself at Moladion.

SAMPLE
Everything was still. The birds ended their songs, critters stopped scurrying through the undergrowth, and the crickets ceased. Arbitus held his breath, the only noise that could be heard was the swaying of the grass against the wind and the sounds of leaves and branches brushing against each other.

The silence shattered when the largest wolf of the group of warriors spoke, in an accent almost completely foreign to Arbitus, a voice deeper than Arbitus ever heard, a voice seeming to emphasize every word. "Collect the last one. He is a threat, as this pack could have been a settlement to an opposing nation." The group dispersed.

Arriving to the clearing of the slaughter came a group of large gray wolves, protecting a smaller, leaner, and much fiercer looking white wolf, who had blood red eyes. "Great Judge, I did not expect your arrival." The one with the deep voice said, bowing his head in submission to the white wolf. The other wolves who had dispersed stopped, bowing their heads.

"Yes, I have come to see the assimilation progress. I have heard rumors of a wolf that steals food and claims land he does not own. Once you find him, I shall personally give him judgement." The voice of the white wolf was dark and sinister, but was not nearly as deep as the leader of the warriors. The wind began to howl, drowning out quiet voices. The white wolf began to scan the area, and Arbitus slowly backed away from his hiding spot, making him harder to see, but the white wolf's eyes rested on the hiding Arbitus, noticing his movement. The wind died, and a chuckle emerged from the throat of the white wolf, one that sent shivers down Arbitus' spine. The other wolves then looked at Arbitus, and soon Arbitus was running.

"Follow him!" The one with the deep voice growled, and all the wolves began to chase Arbitus. Further and further away from his new home Arbitus went, further and further away from his deceased pack members, and from the bloodthirsty warriors that ravaged his camp.

After nearly an hour of running, Arbitus collapsed, the only sounds audible now were his breathing as the wind continued to sway the branches, the grass, the leaves. The wind picked up again, howling madly against the branches, as the trees seemed to bow in sadness for the carnage. The wind revealed to Arbitus faraway scents, and Arbitus knew in his dazed state they were no longer following him, and soon, his breathing regulated as he fell into a sleep, one disturbed by the images of gore and death.
