the birds are eating me out of house and home today
never seen so many juncos and american tree sparrows in one spot; they are joined by song sparrows, white throated and white crowned sparrows and, for the first time this year at my place, fox sparrows
it's surprising the sparrows can get anything with the number of grackles and RWBs
the turkeys are multiplying - what was a flock of 5 is now a flock of 8
the hairies and downies and chickadees can't eat the peanut butter fast enough
it's still snowing! and the wind is bitter
the tulip and daffodil greenery which had just managed to make its way above ground is now completely covered with snow again
