The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

It is from the depths of hell that I catch the sounds of terror, and with my curiosity properly piqued, I make my way to the debauchery that is occurring within the cave. I stalk along the wall, watching what I believe to be an Angel commit something so beautifully heinous I wonder if he is part of Iromar. Though, honestly, I don't think even Andras could do something this horrific. Call me crazy, but I was rather envious of the lad beneath the snow and blood male.

Such passion, but all too soon the crimson painted devil seems to find contentment. I had hoped his depravity wouldn't end, but I suppose my newest interest is only mortal. He leaves the young wolf, and I watch him go, remaining hidden in the deepest shadows I can find. It is only once I am assured he is gone that I move in to see the violated boy. He is broken, the vicious male has left him in a bloody and weakened state, the metallic scent of the boy's life drawing out my own sickness. Reflective irises find the tan of the boy's, who meets my gaze and ignores the hunger in my eyes. I tilt my head as he stammers, scooting himself over to me as victims are want to do to heroes.

What a gift the white and auburn stranger has given me. My large frame dwarfs the boy's as he gets closer to me. Halved tail raises and my head comes up as I inspect him. I say nothing to him as he weeps, finding disgust that he would even do such a thing in front of someone. How foolish to show himself to me, and to cry...the beast should not have left him alive. I growl, the young boy's gaze flashing with realization. He has found his mistake, he knows his supposed saviour is trully another monster in the dark. I let a slow smile creep upon my face, the boy back pedaling as I walk him to the ledge. He growls, starts forward, stops and seems to hurt too much to make the move his eyes tell me he wants to make. I make a fake charge at him, snarling and snapping my fangs.

Down the crevice he goes with a series of echoing yelps and barks. These sounds are mixed with the sultry tone of my laughter, which follow me outside. "Next time, leave them a bit more lively." I say with a smile as I pass the angelic beast. I fully expect his curiosity to peak, for him to follow me as I make my way through the front part of the cave.
