Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

His tawny eyes narrowed into dark slits. In his observations, they fell upon the form of a pallid wolf stood nearby. He seemed indifferent to his surroundings but Terrel, who sought companionship in his days of loneliness, discovered the urge to introduce himself. A hesitation latched on to his actions, anxiety gripping to his form imperceptible leeches. The multihued boy hung his head, surrendering to the confinements of his mind. He inhaled, mentally fighting the walls that barricaded him and isolated him and restricted him. It was the past, he would remind himself. Which was the reason why rain was one of his favoured weather, it was washed away the old and allowed space for new, refreshing occurrences.

As he raised his limbs to meet the stranger but was caught in a moment of surprise as another figure bounded past in the flurry of flowers. She bore the scent of a female; it did not excite him however. He craved for only Mae’s love and undying affection. He found it difficult to see the wolf as she lowered his snout to the ground and disappeared beneath the surface of flowers. His eyes followed the disturbance of flora and saw her bump into the figure he too was moving towards. Terrel found himself startled at her small form but decided not to focus primarily on it; his motives were not to be rude.

Terrel found himself passing from the flowers to the two figures, a smile gently painted upon his kissers, masking the silent agony that suffocated his mind. When he reached the group, he lowered his head in unspoken respect to the two at present. “I thought that I was a good opportunity to introduce myself,” his mouth felt dry. It had been a long time since he had spoken to strangers and he was uncertain how to approach it. “I’m Terrel.” His eyes fell to the ground before passing back and forth between the two wolves.
