Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

Some say to get out fast, looks like it’s gonna last
Get all your things and Fly

The male knew he needed to go back to Taviora soon, Zeteri would be rather livid if he didn’t bring his offering of food and wasn’t around his kids. Honestly he was missing the two little fluff balls as different and awkward as he was with them over time he knew he cared for them like nothing else in the world. For now though he had to do what he can, he was holding together a band of wanderers that lately stuck mostly to the Enocra Woodlands and inside the border of Taviora and soon he wished to move out of there. Kids… well they certainly skewed his life in a direction he had never hoped to find himself in. Still he did what he could for Tuari and Yoska they were his first (and hopefully last) children he would ever have and next winter he swore to his father he woudn’t mess up. Again. He usually had such control but perhaps it was all Zeteri’s fault that he lost it as it were.

He shook his head, searching for something to either scrounge up for the crazy woman or get a fresh kill. Either way he couldn’t go back to any of those girls empty handed. Something about being the man and provider and yadda yadda his job, yadda man work something. They could hunt too you know! But noo d’Mani had to be all bossy, Shimza didn’t want to get dirty and Spirit well Amu liked her and she was so flighty he didn’t want to see her actually get hurt by something. Zeteri was just a mad woman with a barbarian for a mother and an undefeated king for a father and hell no was he going toe to toe with any of them for not getting her a fat hare or deer or something…

His nose twitched the smell of fresh kill in air and much like another black male Amutaq was drawn in by the scent. Some scraps to give him some energy on his own hunt? Yes please! He would fill his stomach on scraps if it meant he could take down something larger for the ladies. The male’s half white banner flicked as he moved forward on his white marked toes, mixed gold and green eyes peering about for any sign of the kill.

Sadly the male was going to get much more than he had bargained for this day. He hd finally caught site of the kill the slight remnants still on the ground and near that, a lady. A small petiet young lady at that well double the fun for him, right? He had yet to come from the clearing, yet to even have a chance to utter a single word when from the opposite side from where he stood he could see those jade eyes that he had once heard about from his father. The large brute was the one his father Amorak had fought off once before protecting a den of pups and their mother along with some other male Amutaq had long forgot the name of, but not the pure ebony brute he watched now everyone knew who he was who had lived on Moladion. Tobias.

He had been quite the drama starter back in Trenus, Amutaq had lived there long enough to know of his relationship with the princess despite her fathers pure distaste for the male. The black and white brute had known he was still around Moladion, he had attacked Taviora, the place where Zeteri and the pups were twice now and warded off by the members each time. Now though was not the time to think that. Damn his father’s warrior blood and his damned protectiveness of the wolves of the female gender. Dammit.

The brute ran forward bursting from the brush and charging forward to meet the nearly exact same sized brute head on. This girl did not smell like Moladion, she was fresh blood, someone that had no idea that a monster was coming her way. Amutaq cursed himself as he darted around Tobias wth surprising speed for his size, but his long legs caused him to move with ease that did not quite fit with his bulky size.

With jaws wide Amu aimed to take one of the piercing jade eyes out of Tobias’ head. Perhaps he would be the hero to finally put this beast to the grave? Oh he would like that, it would be worth a few scars to be called Amutaq the demon slayer. How the ladies would swoon! But first matters were at hand that need to be dealt with and this wolf always had a way of slipping through his attackers or defenders fingers.
