Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

While the vixen found herself walking up the steep slope, her features penetrating the oncoming wind full blast, she wondered why and how this friendship seemed to pique her interest. What was it, three days had gone by since she had stumbled upon him somewhere? Sure. Yeah fine. That could be it. Her sarcasm seemed to fit somewhere into his personality, where she was still trying to comprehend, with no success whatsoever. Whatever. Time would tell when it wanted to. Anyway, Vaccaro had been the first real wolf Macartni could understand, and, frankly, enjoy being around, since she had left home. How long had that been? A couple months? Maybe a bit more? Her memories were interrupted as she rounded a corner, leaping from one edge of a platform to another. Her white head, before it was seasoned down to a light and dull brown at the base of her rump, turned and looked out over the wide expanse of area. Rainbow Cliff had never really caught her eye, until, of course, the varg at her backside challenged her to whatever it was, because she kinda forgot what it was, and they ended up here. How smart of him; Macartni knew she could beat everyone at everything. For someone who knew so little about her, he knew how to drive her crazy.

Another wave of air bombarded her face, peeling back her whiskers and sending a small growl out from the base of her stomach. Wind was not necessarily a friend, let alone an appreciated acquaintance. It bothered her really, sparking her usual annoyance she felt to most objects that ever crossed her path. Her eyes rolled, as she took a step back, taking speedy strides forward to keep her lead on the titan behind her. And, strangely, a smile became chiseled onto her face. Life had been so slow. Macartni found herself lazy everyday; waiting to get up, not getting up, then having to get up to get food. After a meal, she would lay in the sun and warm her body up and take a nap, and before she even knew it, night would be knocking at her door and she would throw herself back into her den and start the whole cycle back over again. The only thing that would break this cycle every day would be if she didnít fall asleep in her own home, which happened maybe twice a week at tops. The vixen would carry herself away to get exercise and drop dead of exhaustion under a willow tree or something, then work her way back home while, if she was lucky, hunting small game along the way. Might sound nice, but really. At times, it got boring.

Maybe that was the reason that when she stumbled over Vaccaro, as she had tripped over him and nearly chewed his ear off, that she had been eager to make friends and get somewhere that she usually didnít. And, he seemed to like her. Which, by the way, was a challenge in itself. And by all means she didnít mean romantically. Well at least, maybe not yet. The baroness would never fall over her heels at the sight of a lad, turn the corner and pledge to stay loyal for as long as they both should live. No. Things happen slower than that, and Macartni was barely ready to keep up a steady relationship with a girl. However, he was very pretty; she would give him that. She shook her body as the boy caught up to her, rounding her position and snapping a click out of her jaw before trotting away. ďOh, really? I see. I see.Ē She flashed a smile, jumping ahead of herself and trotting close to him. And, while he had enough time to scramble himself back into reach of safety, she popped a hip out at the right second to give him a little startle, and leaped away with a snicker slithering out of her throat.

The vixen rounded another corner, journeying closer to the top before sitting down on a sturdy ledge, peaking her amber gaze out over the horizon for just a little bit longer.

"Talking," and walking.
