Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

She didn't overly relish in the excursion to the free lands. She would soon return to Iromar. She was determined to stay at Nakki’s side even if that did mean being loyal to the one named Andras. She was not overly fond of that idea but if it pleased Nakki then she would oblige. She would not pass up the older woman’s companionship. Still being in a pack even with Nakki didn't curb her appetite for adventure come to think of it; her real appetite was in the need for being curbed. Winters advancement was clear food was sure to dwindle and she would surely not profit to be hungry when it onset was just beginning.

It seemed as though fate was on her side as she heard the chirp of a marmot. She licked her lips in anticipation as he eyes locked on the creature. She had little cover outside the mouth of this cave… the land was mostly short grass and rocks making her task difficult she would surely be spotted before she can even get close to its bold hole… She lowered herself to the ground crawling to position herself behind the creature. She launched forward on eager paws but the creature had caught her. It bolted in its hole as she snapped at air. She shoved her muzzle in after the marmot; snapping she felt it’s limb in her mouth and as it squealed she tried to drag it out gaining her a nip on the muzzle and a dirt covered face.

She had only managed the leg of the creature but she wanted the entirety. Dropping the limb she settled in to dig out the pathetic excuse of life. She twisted and contoured herself to fit into the widened entrance managing to free her dying prize for its confines. She put a weighted paw in its ribs as she shook her coat free of most of the dirt that found a place to cling. Quickly she snatched it up by the neck applying enough pressure to hear the soft snap of bones. Gazing around it seemed to be quite but she would not be losing her prize to anyone else… she carried her prize in proud jaws into the beginning shadows of the cavern; laying over her prize as she begins her feast.
