Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

There are a Few Warriors Among Us

The black brute grinned when he felt his brother shove him back, a little harder than the younger brother had initially done, playful growls escaping both brujos. Fili leapt at the younger brother, nipping at him as he did so. Kili smiled at the playful antics of his brother, rolling around in the dirt, trying to get the upper hand on his big brother, nipping him gently as he did so. The brothers scuffled around for a bit, evenly matched in their fighting skills, and neither really got the upper hand, but then again, neither were actually trying to hurt the other one. When the two had successfully worn themselves out, they both stopped, in some silent agreement that they were both done. Kili was panting heavily as his brown orbs looked at his brother, waiting to see how their conversation would pick up from here. The black brute flopped to the ground, panting still as he sprawled out on the ground beside his brother.

When his brother had finished annoyingly looking over him Kili could tell that something was greatly bothering his older brother. He tried to make light of the situation, like he usually did, joking around with a silly grin on his face, trying to relax his brother. It didn’t work this time though, and it seemed to annoy Fili more than make things better. The red blonde brother turned away from the younger black one, annoyance in his voice as he spoke, “You just don’t get it, do you?” Kili’s ears laid back against his head, surprised at his brother’s actions as he watched the red blonde brute lay his head upon his paws, not speaking anymore on the subject. The younger brute watched his brother shrug in response about whether or not he would actually leave, and Kili sighed, knowing he would not get anywhere with his brother tonight. He followed suite and laid his head upon his own paws, closing his eyes, deciding to try and wait until morning to get more out of his brother on the subject.

The black brute ate quickly, not realizing how hungry he had been until the fresh meat had been put in front of him. The red blood of the meat colored his ivories, and a satisfied sigh escaped him before licking his muzzle clean of the remnants of the small meal. His chocolate brown orbs looked towards his red blonde brother, waiting to see when they would head out and travel back to Thorin and the others of their group. Kili was surprised though to see his usually tense and high strung brother relax and lie down, indicating that Fili wanted the younger male to do the same. His thoughts flitted back to their tense discussion last night, and he was afraid that his older brother was going to ask him not to return back to Thorin, to abandon their quest, and then Kili would be faced with an awful situation. He hesitantly padded over to his brother, eyes warily watching as his brother visibly relaxed, unconsciously causing Kili to relax a bit as well. He was always more at ease and happier when he could see that his big brother was in a good relaxed mood.

Fili grinned at the younger sibling as he began their conversation, "It's been months since we've really had any chance to talk about anything what with all the traveling and stuff. I think we should relax, catch up. I want to know how you feel about the whole thing and what's going on in your life. So, any love interests?" The black male rolled his eyes. His older brother had been asking him this since they had barely matured. Kili always said that his older brother was just jealous that he had been luckier with the ladies and gotten the better looks between the siblings, but truth be told he had not yet been with a female. Silly flirting was always fun, and Kili enjoyed talking to and antagonizing the girls from back home, but he had still not found someone he really loved yet. He was always surprised when Fili asked this, as if Fili thought Kili had some secret life he was running off to, meeting all kinds of other lupines. But nothing like that was true. Fili knew everything about the younger brujo’s life and Kili was almost always with his older brother.

”You know I have no love interests. Where would I have met a girl? I have barely gone anywhere without you and Thorin and the rest of the group. Even though I’m sure I could find a girl, with my dashing looks and all” He grinned in a goofy way at his brother at his words, enjoying the light teasing that Kili and Fili always exchanged with each other. ”You know everything that goes on in my life brother, there’s nothing new. I enjoy being with Thorin in the others, but the travel has become dull. I wish that we had some more action in our lives. I thought this was gunna be an adventure, y’know, fighting the ones that took our home and getting it back? I guess I’m just waiting for the adventure to begin.” He smiled weakly at his brother, not sure exactly what Fili had wanted to hear, but he always spoke truthfully to his older brother.

OOC: I’m sorry this is so short and crappy and blahh. I haven’t had the best motivation to write so I’ll be back to my (hopefully) better posts soon <3
