Mizuki's ears received Hestia's question, but her mind hesitated. Awe-stricken as it was, she never expected Hestia to show her any concern, though she had sensed a warmth in Hestia's heart before. Same with Filius.
"I slept well. You, Hestia?"

And just as she said that, she witnessed Filius give chase to a hare. Mizuki felt faint as she watched him. She shot up and launched herself after him. She found him laying on his side, inhaling deep. She brought herself to his view and laid beside him, her blues softly fixed on his orbs, which had been dialated in the excitement of the chase, wide with dreams and determination. She smiled, already knowing the answer to her question. Though his body may be worn, his feelings numbed all of his pains. He was joyful, no matter if he were to have broken his foot even.
"How are you?"
Her voice smooth and caressing, you couldn't dip them in syrupy sugar to make the words sweeter. He was a fighter, a stubborn fool... but this is what kept him alive, inside and out.
She admired his spirit deeply. He was something else to see indeed, a spectacle to witness, and Mizuki was pleased to soak up every second of it.
