At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

I can tell he is troubled, the way he whines and flits his eyes and flattens his ears. His whole body language screams how uncertain and untrusting he is of everything. I feel bad for him and it only makes me want to protect him more. I'm not sure how he'll take to Cold Summers. Maybe he won't like it, all the unfamiliar wolves and I don't even know if he's ever seen a kalak before. Maybe he'll look at the red coated long legged wolves with fear I haven't seen yet. Maybe he'll run away and think I brought him to some evil place and he'll never trust me again. That's something I'm not I'm willing to risk but he takes the option away when he scratches the word pack into the ground between us. I find my lips slowly curling into a soft smile, my eyes thankful. He must really trust me to want to come somewhere he's never been with a wolf he just met. I just hope I''m worthy of that trust.

Cold Summers is full of unfamiliar faces now and a lot more kalaks have joined the ranks. They outnumber the regular grey wolves ten to one by now, especially now that Sophie has given birth to her newest litter. I love children and I hope North does too, otherwise it might be awkward if we happen to run into any of the children. I know there are a lot of kind souls in Cold Summers and I hope that they reach out to North and make him feel welcome. Astarte is very nice and so is Robin Hood, or so it would seem. Maybe they'll try to be North's friend and make him feel better about the whole pack thing. Even if they don't, he'll still have me.

When he steps forward and nudges my shoulder, I can tell that he's ready to go. I offer him another smile and nod.

"Okay, follow me."

I set off toward my pack, keeping the pace slow and sure so he can keep up. I don't want to rush him and I'm not in a hurry. Cold Summers will always be there. I can't wait for Odessa to meet him. I'm sure she'll grow to like him and see the dark past that he came from and want to help him past it just like I do. My tail waves behind me, reassuring him as my ears flicker, staying alertly on him in case he changes his mind for any reason or decides to take a detour. It's a beautiful day and I'm not in a rush to go anywhere, not now that I have a friend at my side to make the journey that much better.

OOC: Do you want to post in Cold Summers or do you want me to?
