Crows cawed overhead as she rested, assuming that her skinny body and large stomach ment she was dead; something she wished she was. Paris was hungry-to the point were she would eat rotten meat if it were available-but couldn't bring herself to stand anymore. She was weak and thin, but she kept a strong faith. Lifting her head, she watched as other wolves brought their pups and a meal with them to the lake. Paris began to drool at the sight.
It was only when she heard the rustling of bushes and shifting sand behind her that she snapped from her transe and became worried, turning her head with an utmost grace to see a male with a hare in his jaws. Paris was awestruck when he dropped it beside her, and began to question wether or not he was a hallucination. When he spoke his name, she knew he was real, and with wide eyes began to devour the hare. "Thank you, Mr. Arimas." She spoke softly, finishing off her small meal. "I greatly appreciate your kindness. I beleive my pups do as well." She smiled gently as she felt the pups squirm, looking at her stomach to find that you could see them moving.
Looking at him a bit closer, she found that he was quite handsome, and that he was above the average size for his kind. Paris was slightly attracted to him, but shook the thought and turned to drink from the water lapping at her paws.
