News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

For some time the gleaming golden boy rests upon the flattened stone at the side of the mountain, eyes of a black so strange looking down upon the gathering congregation, ears pricked forward to capture Purge’s words- the Queen doing just as he had instructed and advised her to do. Apologise. He himself had known little of Moonglow or Alcide and yet he had held enough understanding to see readily that a reign so long would be one hard to replace, one Purge would not win with agitation or disdain. He is well versed in political matters, his own domineering blood lending to him some ability to understand this need to be above others and yet in regards to himself such a thing has been channelled more so into a simple drive to succeed in his own pursuits, that same drive in which he has utilised now, determined, this time, to be afford the ranking he deserves, tired of having himself wasted upon menial tasks meant for the less intelligent. He continues to watch Purge as she speaks, pleased to see her doing so very well and indeed, he has every belief she should apologise, wether she is sorry or not he hardly cares, public relations is his job and from what he can see so far, she (and thus he) are doing quite well, those gathered so far responding in a manner he deemed fitting. They would not heal, at least, not quickly, the pain of the loss of an Alpha and a parent one he knows entirely well. He is the last of the Princes of Trenus, before the Angel empire, the last of the leaders of Scotavia and his adopted sire Bahamut. His family is dead and gone…..he knows what they feel and as such he had seen fit to advise Purge to act in a manner that would appeal to them. Treating the wolves of the mountain with anything less then a bloodline so old deserved would see her reign short lived- already a challenger had emerged from within the old ranks and yet truthfully Pan cannot weed out every wolf whom opposes her- this is not his job, his role is merely to assist her to lead and lead well. In time, thoughts and feelings would change, yet it is a good start, he thinks, to bury the fallen Alphas. It has a certain noble ring to it. Perhaps Purge was not a lost cause after all.

The sight of Niviaq however, seemed to derail any further thoughts, mind seeming to slip and jump in a manner he finds extremely disconcerting, this disease with which he has become afflicted seeming to show symptoms once more. It was almost as if the little silver female seemed to bring on such occurrences, as if the mere sight of her seemed to inflame his symptoms into a veritable tirade of neediness that he finds utterly distasteful. He knows of imprints, indeed, he has heard the word and yet until he experiences scientific proof in a controlled examination with a number of variables and a conclusively proved hypothesis he refuses entirely to claim or disclaim the matter o imprints. No. He is merely afflicted with some sort of disease which results in his being somehow physically and sexually attracted to a female whom is very near his own short stature, if not far less bulky and whom just happens to have perfect features. For a moment the gleaming boy of copper and gold is left to simply stare towards her before his feet find purpose once more, leaping from his stone observation deck to move towards her, loping easily down the mountain side, pausing briefly beside Purge, his words a whisper heard by her only.

“You are doing well.”

It is all he adds as he moves to brush past the Alphess, heading for Niviaq with a fierce determination. So many of the wolves of Spirane barely know of his existence, let alone of his connection with the female, one surely made clear as he reaches for her, pressing his muzzle into her chest in a near desperate bid to sate his insatiable need for her, inhaling her scent, soothing his energized nerves before he moves to walk around her, heading for the stone pile before pausing. Black eyes turn back towards the slowly growing mound, head tilting slightly in evident contemplation before he seems to make an in-depth comparison of at least two of the stones. One he thinks, is the perfect size and yet the other has a better surface area and really to speed up proceedings the second stone would be a better choice, yet the first was by far the superior fit and will not increasing coverage per say it would allow a look of completion. It is only after several moments of deep concern that the powerful, muscular pit bull of a male selects the first stone, large, powerful jaws enclosing it as he lifts it easily, placing it in the perfect space atop the pile, pausing to arrange the particulars before stepping back to view his work and returning to Niviaq’s side.

He moves to seat himself beside her, content to ignore the symptoms he is clearly showing in these moments, dipping his head as the Diveen wolf speaks, the words he utters the known tongue of Angels, although why he is hear cannot be said, the boy simply choosing to believe he may well be an ambassador of sorts from the pack, although in truth he finds this unlikely and obscure in design. Diveen had taken many of Spiranes refugees and it is those whom had left that the male finds the most worrying to purges cause. Diveen was by far the most powerful pack in all Moladion, a pack that had delivered Iromar defeat in the war, along with a number of individuals whom had sought to challenge, Purge herself included, dealt defeat by both Kane and Isola making relationships…problematic and yet such is the mind of Pan that he has already begun to work on the problem, head bowing in respect as the prayer was offered before he turns to Skully, speaking quietly.

“From where did you learn such a language?”

The question is truly far more then it seems, yet the boy offers nothing more but a smile before his attention shifts to Niviaq beside him once more as he falls silence in respect for that which occurs before him.
