Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Riopat

I perk my dirty ears, head tilting as my dark navy gaze assesses him, watching him as he inspects me closer, though I make sure not to raise my lips to him. I want him to know I trust him, even when giants come sauntering up. My gaze slides easily from Tesseract to what looks like a blown up Mortz. His presence alone is enough to send a bit of strength to me, but I catch sight of the thing he carries - or carried as the case may be. I take a deep breath, steadying myself as I sit, looking at him. I blink away tears, only able to think how he must feel. "Perhaps, we can track her as we did the rabbits. Maybe we will find her, and perhaps all we have to do is call." I smile weakly, hoping this was not the female who helped save my life. I whimper, moving my small frame into Mortz and curling at his paws, feeling much more myself. "Tesseract, thank you. I hope that we can be the best for you. I have a place in mind for my den, but the request is noted." I wave my tail before I move away from my childhood friend. Turning to look at him as I take in his enormity.

"Who made you so tall? I almost did not recognize you coming up." I look to the pelt. "And who ever this poor wolf is, should be sent out to sea..." I can only hope this is not my rescuer. I want to go to the island of Glorall, to stay in the dens of past healers, gain their knowledge and build myself into master healer by the sea. I was home, and I was never leaving again. I want Mortz to come with me, he can help. And he probably wants to be a warrior, so why not teach him a thing or two in case he needs it in the field.
