News 03.28.20

Get with me if you want to move up in rank. I'm going to change up the pack tasks for a little change of pace.

Congratulations to Adrian on her promotion to Governess. She will handle the guidance and teaching of our young pups in Iromar.

If you have a ^ next to your name, that means you're up for promotion so see me or send me a message on Discord so we can see where to move you. All others interested in specializing or getting a rank, let me know so we can figure out how to make that happen.

The pack board has been updated. If you wanted to remain a member, let me know either on here or Discord and I'll get you back on the board. Otherwise, let's have a thread!

I know I had a couple replies for the training with Spirane so I will be starting that thread soon. Stay tuned!

I am still working on an alliance with Diveen and Asteraia so stay tuned. If you have any information or would like to help, please let me know. If anyone has any ideas to promote activity within the pack, also, let me know. I am open for plots and such! Meanwhile, thank you all for your continued support of the pack.

Gunpowder & Lead.
I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun
Wait by the door and light a cigarette
He wants a fight well now hes got one
And he ain't seen me crazy yet
Slapped my face and he shook me like a rag doll
Don't that sound like a real man?
I'm gonna show him what a little girls made of
Gunpowder and lead
What ever the hell was going on here went against everything about me. So it had to be wrong, right? But it certainly didn't feel that way. I was a solitary creature, even when in a pack I preferred to be alone. Maybe it was because of how my siblings had pushed me away, hated that I was far smaller than them and could not play or fight next to them. I was left to play by myself, growing apart from others. My stars were truly cruel to have made me this way: the lonely runt of the litter. Even now that my family was gone, even now in Moladion, I was looked down upon for my size. But now it was different, now I had a fire inside of me. I had joined Iromar in the hopes to becoming their shaman. I didn't want to be looked down upon anymore. I wouldn't let any stop me from proving myself to the demon's of Iromar that I could belong here. Not some weird feeling, not some weird wolf.

I was anything but a stupid wolf, unlike what my brother would have you believe. While my family was gifted in size, I was gifted in brains; A David to their Goliath. But this strange feeling, no matter how hard I thought about it, I could not comprehend what it meant. It had to be magic. It made no sense, no matter how many ways I looked at it. Yes, it did frustrate me some, but I never lashed out in my frustration. Quite the opposite, it drove me to want to solve the puzzle. But each piece I picked up never seemed to fit the whole picture, and I was forced to start over again. That was one reason why I had been seeking out this male; he was a piece of the puzzle I had yet to explore.

My silver eyes scanned up and down his familiar form; a form that had haunted my dreams and thoughts. He had deep red eyes and a deep red mane that perfectly highlighted his pitch black coat. He was, the epitome of what demons were supposed to look like. I watched as he continued forward and I knew he would not stop. My words made him flick his ears, brushing them away. That made my eyes narrow slightly. I may not be someone to him, but I at least deserved enough respect to be listened to; he had sought me out after all and even asked me a question. While I kept a weary gaze on him, I allowed him to come and push himself against me. I had to brace myself slightly because of his bulk and the force he used while he circled me. He pushed against me with a force that seemed like he was trying to wipe something on me. Did demons really hate the color white so much it would drive him to try such frivolous attempts?

The touch sent electricity shooting up my body, making me hold back a shiver that threatened to steal its way through me. His touch was an addiction, and I craved more. I quickly pushed down this weird feeling though. How did this male draw such a strange desire from me? Whatever I felt was quickly gone when I heard his huff of disappointment. I arched my brow questioningly. Did this boy seriously expect some of his black to cover my white? Was I that unappealing that he really hoped it would work? The only thing he'd managed to accomplish with that little show was making me feel even more odd and wiping his scent all over me, not that I necessarily minded all that much. He kept close to me, even though he had finished his senseless circling. I could feel the heat coming off of him, I could hear him breathing. Everything about him in this situation was very alluring.

"Wolf, maybe. Witch? Only witches can cast spells." Did he seriously just accuse me of being a witch and casting a spell over him? I bit back laughter that surely would have pissed him off even more than he seemed. I could not hide the amusement that swam through my eyes however. His bloody gaze suddenly snapped from me to the mists surrounding us. My brow arched curiously and turned, following his gaze. What on earth was he searching for? There was nothing there to look at. But whatever it was, it made his hackles rise.

No sooner had they risen did they fall once more and his gaze returned to me. "Give me the cure." He demanded, baring down on me. Normally i'd have submitted to the pure dominance he bore down on me with, but not today. Today I felt empowered. Maybe it was that same magic , but whatever the case, I held my ground. My silver gaze stayed locked with his, I had to look up slightly because of the height difference. "I assure you, if I were a witch as you claim, I would not use my magic to cast a spell on you. Doesn't that seem a little bit wasteful?" I certainly had no idea where all this fire was coming from, but it felt natural. "If there were a cure, i'd have used it on myself first," I said, hoping that maybe this would clue him in on the fact that I was going through the exact same strange effects as well. That I had done nothing to him. But I also proved that this feeling was not just in his head, that there was something there, be it magic or not.

"I don't understand it at all. You shouldn't make me feel this way, it doesn't make any sense," I mumbled, dropping my gaze and racking my brain to try and figure out what was going on. I was getting no where. He was a demon, a cold hearted creature as others saw them. He clearly hated everything about me. Why did I care? Why did the idea of him make me feel this way?

PACK RANKS

Monarch
Pretty simple, Alpha of Iromar. Ultimate authority. What I say, goes.
Chief
The 'Co-Alpha'. He is her equal and has all the same authorities as she does. He is be respected and can take challenges and block steals.
Deputy
The Beta of Iromar. The most trusted wolf under the Alpha. Has all the same authorities of the Monarch in her absence. Second in command. Can block steals and take challenges.
Council
The advisor to the Monarch. One who's wisdom is often sought in matters of politics and war. Not necessarily an elder but someone the Monarch looks up to.
Trooper
The head warrior of Iromar. Shows the most skill in combat and has experience to back it up. Trains the soldiers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Stalker
The head hunter of Iromar. Shows the most skill in hunting and providing for the pack. Tasked with leading pack hunts and teaching the pups of the pack at designated times. Trains the hunters and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Medic
The head healer of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine. Tasked with checking on the Monarch/Deputy after a challenge and also keeping up with mothers around birthing time. Trains the healers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Envoy
The head diplomat in Iromar. Skilled in matters of politics and conversation. Intelligent and witty, this wolf keeps the pack together as one while reaching out to potential allies for support. Council is their direct supervisor. Trains the diplomats and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Governess
The guardian of offspring in Iromar. Skilled as a warrior and alert as a scout, this wolf is tasked with probably one of the most important jobs in Iromar, protecting the future of the pack and Moladian. They can watch the litter while the parents are off doing tasks, hunting, or just enjoying some quiet time. Can serve as guides for the pups, like having a full time guardian. Trains the teachers and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Snoop
The head spy in Iromar. Skilled in maneuverability and blending in, this wolf must be a shadow when called upon. Tasked with finding out information about other packs or wolves when called upon, this wolf must be quick as well as witty, able to make anyone believe anything. Also serves as a thief when the need arises. Trains the spies and serves as their direct supervisor. Can block steals.
Chronicler
The head story teller of Iromar. This wolf has done their research on all things Iromar and Moladian. They can give a good history lesson or spin a tale on demand when the younger minds call for distraction. Able to captivate an audience. May even help with speeches for the Monarch when necessary. No one to train but the pups or even adults of Iromar when they have questions or curiosity about the past. This wolf may even be called upon by the Council at times. Can block steals.
Soothsayer
The seer of Iromar. This is a special rank made specifically for a wolf with "the sight." Consider her an advisor/spy of sorts for the alpha and rest of the pack. She/he can gather intel from outside or supernatural forces. You don't have to believe in the magic of this ability for any wolf with this rank will be respected as a ranked member of the pack. Can block steals.
Warriors- Members of the Iromar army. Skilled in combat and overseen by the Trooper.
Hunters- Providers for Iromar. Skilled in scavenging and hunting.
Healers- Doctors of Iromar. Skilled in herbs and emergency medicine for those in need.
Diplomats- Extroverts of Iromar. Skilled in politics and overall conversation.
Spies- Scouts and thieves of Iromar. Skilled in blending in and masking themselves when called upon.
Teachers- Guardians of the youth of Iromar. Skilled in defense and culture. They shape the young minds of the future.
Children-The pups of Iromar. To be cherished as they are precious for the future of the land. Shape them and mold them into something we can all be proud of.
Members- Overall pack members of Iromar. Not specialized in a particular field yet but just as important to the population.
