That was one of the misconceptions about me, that because I was a killer I was also a cold and cruel wolf. But on the contrary, I was a very kind wolf. I only killed when the killing was asked of me and the killing was justified. If you were a kind wolf, you would find that I would be equally as kind to you. The tundra could freeze a wolf's soul, but it seemed to have only warmed mine. Maybe because it was so easy to take a life, that made me appreciate a life even more. I was not some psychopath like the demons of Iromar. I was fully sane.

I knew my words had confused her by the way she turned her head. That was just how I spoke and there was truly nothing I could do about it. I only spoke like they did in my native tongue, but then they would not understand me at all. I watch as she lays back fully on the group, resting her head onto her paws. "Yes, I am. Thank you Ailith. I'm Natu." she said in a sweet voice, though her voice was just a bunch of sighs. Her eyes opened and closed slowly. I smiled "Ilaali (you're welcome.)" Even though I spoke in my native tongue, the meaning was easy to understand."She is happy to meet Natu and see that she is okay," I offer her a friendly smile, my icy eyes full of warmth instead of their usual coldness.

I felt a sense of happiness wash over me as a smile cracked over Natu's mouth at my little joke. It wasn't as bright as I suspected it could be, but she was in pain and going through quite a lot right now. "The demon is probably already back in the safety of her marshes with the other devils. I thank you for your offer though. You are a kind wolf, Ailith, to do such for one you do not even know. I am in your debt. Do you plan to stay within Spirane as well? It would be nice to see a friendly face." she explains that the demon probably fled back to Iromar. It puts me at ease some, but it does not diminish my rage at the black wolf's actions. My ears fall back with a sudden shyness as I smile when she calls me a kind wolf. I was a killer, true, but I was also kind. To hear it from another wolf filled me with a sense of pride and happiness i'v never felt before.

When she says she is in my dept I shake my head. "She owes Ailith nothing," I explained. I wanted nothing in return for saving her. Seeing her doing well would be the only repayment I wanted. When she asks me if I planned on staying at Spirane, I smiled and nodded. "Purge has granted her membership. It will be nice to see Natu around," My tail wagged.
