Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

to say sorry, doesn't hurt as much as saying goodbye...

Everything about this day was calm and pretty simple. Ska was at Diveen, trying to learn a bit of healing with Emerald and I was here, taking a little time for myself. It had been some time since I had been so happy and relaxed. Years may I say. Since my very first pack. How I loved my parents and friends. The pups. Oh, the pups, they used to give me a lot of work, especially when they ran from the pack and we had to travel to another place. I was the one in charge to find them and bring them back. Sometimes it took several hours to find the pack again, but I always found the pups and took them back no matter what weather or time. They loved to hear my stories and I did love to tell them. I loved to watch their expression, their reaction to every word as I put emotion to each word. Good times.

I was lost in my memories, smiling when my ear twitched as I heard another's voice. I opened my eyes and looked at the small one, it was a pup. I smiled again and looked at her as she spoke.

- Hello!

I replied gentle and tilted my head as she asked me what I was smiling about.

- Well, I usually smile because I am happy... - I told her, sincere.

It is true. I just hadn't been specific. I see no harm in telling this wolf girl about myself, that I was smiling remembering a few things in my past, but not every pup would like to hear those. Truly, even the way she tilted her head and flopped her ears was enough to make me smile. It was just cute. Her gaze slowly fell and she noticed my scar. She stared at it and I just waited, watching as she analyzed it and told me that it reminded her of another scar a wolf had in a story her mom told her.

- Oh... This scar has a very long story... It is a symbol of loyalty.

I told her. She laid down in front of me and held her paw out telling me to look at it. I lowered my head and looked at it as she told me to. I could notice it was a little twisted, but with a kind smile I looked back into her eyes.

- I see. But something tells me it will never be a problem for you.

My tail thumped on the ground and I nodded my head as she told me her name.

- It is very nice to meet you, Aviias.. - I greeted - ...And my name is Voltaire.

I told her gently.
