Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

am i a monster when i sink my teeth into her?

She had grown a taste for adrenaline once more, or for the thrill of the hunt at least. It felt good to have played with that Spirane toy and yet, it had been a sad day indeed when she had hardly lased long enough to get a true taste of her. With the turn of the seasons, she had grown further bored of dwelling within Iromar, preferring the spontaneous nature of the lands outside her home. That is why she sought company today - she had called for Namaah, hoping for her sleek, dark companion to work along side her. Undoubtedly, such a devilish creature would be desiring a taste of fun, too.

With or without Namaah by her side, she had taken off into the vastness of the free lands. Now, she had so little to truly worry about. Andras had been doing an immaculate job at keeping Iromar together, all while creating his own alliances here and there. Their children, too, had been fairing well enough. Lamia and Nogitsune were old enough to care for themselves almost, and her older children had their own lives to deal with. She worried for them, yes, though perhaps not in a natural, maternal way. She worried that she would need to purge Siren, purge Elesor, purge so many weak links that seemed to prove themselves fruitless. Oh, how the thought of her tiny daughter made her insides flop with uncertainty. She was born so perfect, and yet, she seemed to inherit the mind of a daft fool.

It gave her more reason to keep herself occupied, lowering her nose to the earth as she sucked in the myriad of scents. She hadn't needed to move far from Iromar before she found a scent she recognised as Nakki. For a moment, she paused with a cocked head, considering the woman in silence before moving on at a slackened pace. If she could not find true prey, perhaps she could... play with her dearest comrade. It had become fast known that the woman was a social thing, preying upon so many herself. It only made sense the toy with one of Iromar's best, no?

Slowing, she kept her nose firmly in search of the scent, fast approaching where she assumed the female hid. In the shadows, she could so faintly see the glimmer of the eye's wetness, the shift of the shadow's cloak, that little shine that gave her away. Lillith had always been a hunter, even at such a distance.

With her target's location sighted, she began to move down wind further, her body lowering and snaking along the ground as her tongue lashed out, rolling across her muzzle. Nakki would make for a good game - she was no fool, after all. For now, Lillith simply wanted to get a closer look.
