Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

What would mother do? What would father do? Hell, what would Maradona do? She figured it was likely best to do what her father would have done in such a situation. After all, her sister and mother were more likely to force submission and respect onto others and, well, the last she had tried that... it hadn't gone so well. Instead, she'd do her best to at least seem open and, uh, welcoming. So far, though, she had fast realised that even this stranger, this Gvgeyu'i was better at that. She'd have to learn and that learning started now.

In a way, she tried to mirror the woman, relaxing her posture and re-positioning so that she eliminated any inkling of threat from her form. As it were, it was hard enough to suppress her endless energy, and adding onto the fact that she had been but on the cusp of adulthood... it proved a challenge. Of course, she still smiled to herself a little smugly in achievement, pleased with the results of her efforts - she surely looked totally relaxed now, right!?

At the sound of laughter, her ears and eyes flickered once more towards Gvgeyu'i, head tilted somewhat. What was so funny? It was definitely a valid question! It'd be winter soon enough and then what? Surely the fields got stupendously cold during such a time and, really, who wanted to sleep in the snow? It was when she actually spoke that Cersei's features once more lit up into a grin, her tail thumping happily behind her. She'd asked where she was from! And there was nothing that made her prouder than where she had come from. At one point, she would have said a hole in the ground - after all, she'd been born somewhere in the Crags - but now, she had a home to be proud of. Even if she messed up, she'd always belong there at least.

Enderly beat her to it, though she was fast becoming used to that. With a mind so excitable, it took her a few moments longer than most to process just what she should say. Usually, the words came out without a thought but she had... she'd been trying to slow that down. Now, she simply nodded along with Enderly in agreement, giving him her attention as he spoke. Odd, she could not help but notice the hint of Diveen on his pelt and yet... he had not claimed to be from there? She tilted her head, pondering such a thought as she spoke then, her attention diverting back to Gvgeyu'i.

"Enderly's right - the woods and the crags have good shelter. But... it'll be cold soon."

She paused, fidgeting a little nervously before sucking in a deep breath, a breath that apparently brought confidence with it.

"But if you wanted, I could find you a den near my home! I live in Glorall - have you ever seen the sea? We don't get predators there. You'd be safe!"
