Fir Chilis is the name given to the dense string of forested land that fills much of Blossom Forest. There are two different populations, depending on where in the land you are. To the north lays the deciduous forest, full of maples, oaks, birches, and beeches. To the south lay a coniferous forest full of pines and firs. No matter where you are, the trees shelter you from the sun and the rain and the snow. Take care not to get lost in the woods however - you may never find your way out. There are other dangerous here too - predators waiting for their own prey. While the land is prosperous they do not pose too much of a threat, but whenever famine or drought hits, they will attack anything... even other Putnar.

Those looking to hunt will find the forests well stocked - there are white-tailed deer, turkeys, red squirrels, chipmunks, mermots, and moose.

Graceful and soft, her motions were, the prints in the earth hardly more than a print that a the weight of a child would leave. Not only was she of the kalak blood line, but she was petite as well, her form smaller, more delicate than that of any of her family, especially either of her brothers, Harries and Akuji. So unique of a family they were. They cared for each other and protected each other, for certain, but it was out of necessity, not love. At least on the part of the brothers. But this slight femme, Shae as she had been dubbed at her birth, Shae was a different matter. Everyone could not help but love her. Before Akuji had betrayed their kind by killing one of the royals, he had constantly fought with Harries, over everything it seemed. From the small to the mundane. It was only in Shae’s presence that they had been tempered. It was only when the youngest of the brood was with them that there was a sort of calm peace and understanding among their family. But it was not out of innocence that she had this effect, nor that she was pure. She was as messy and tainted as the rest of her family, but she would never wound them the way Harries did, with his rough sex that bordered on rape, even though he always made them love him first. She would never wound them the way that Akuji had done – murder and torture was not her style. No – when she walked, when she chose her next target, she would bring them to their knees with her love and seduction. And once they belonged to her, she left. That was what she desired – the power that she held over men. And when she found a suitable mate, she would become impregnated and bear children which would then be delivered to her parents to be raised in their fashion.

Her brothers would impregnate women indiscriminately. The ones that were pure or at least looked pure would be taken home to be raised in a fashion befitting their bloodlines. But she? She had the option and the ultimate say. It would be hers that would always pure without any tainted seed. No pups would be born from her womb from any other than the one maned wolf that she would finally take as her mate for life.

Stopping, hesitating, she smiled at the scene set before her, the whole of Blossom Forest visible from her one vantage point. This was her journey, this was her mission. Apparently her brothers were unaware that they now lived within the same lands, and should they discover each other, it would be dangerous for anyone in their general vicinity. She was not to allow them to bring such shame to their family, and so it was their father who had sent her forth to prevent the bloodbath. She was the peacekeeper. The white flag. Her delicate pads moved once more, a steady trot bringing her deep into the forest, her path avoiding the packlands, doubting that she would find her kin there, but it did not take long for her to pick up on one of her brother’s scents. Glancing around, she noted the nearby cliff – from there her vocals would resonate easily. And so, the ess ascended the steep plane, the slope posing no difficulty to her, nor did the smooth surface. Looking over the edge, she smirked. Lifting her maw she let loose a call, calling at least one of her brothers to her. It was not a suggestion. It was a demand.

Time for a family reunion.
