Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

PACK TASKS [updated for Maradona]

How great to see such an interest within the pack. Below are your tasks; I have no time constraints, so take your time. Just know that those that finish before you, may very well be considered for the rank before you.

Vesper: As you are intending to go into the Velites path, I wish for you to spend some time with your elder sister, Cersei. I wish for the two of you to go to the free lands and educate one another one at least one thing you have learnt about Moladion. Being aware of not only your surroundings, but of what others may know, is something you must learn. Try to coax more information out of her if you can.

Cersei: You have been learning to spar and now, you will learn to heal. Go to Taviora and speak with their leader. If you can persuade him to help you learn, then you have earned the right to learn the art of healing. If not, work on your tongue until you can convince him you are worthy.

Frostbite: We will settle our spar, which will surely earn you my respect. After that, I wish for you to seek a student - be it a wolf of Glorall, an ally or a wolf of the free lands that you can persuade to spend time in Glorall. Part of being a warrior is knowing how to pass on your knowledge, after all.

Mortz: It is good to see ambition. For starters, I will meet with you and we will briefly gauge your skills (in an informal spar) - after that, I wish to see you in a formal spar with one of the other wolves seeking the rank of Achilles. This wolf will be your pick - learn to choose your opponents well.

Vadik: With that much ambition and attitude, I except you to be well versed. I hope that you will oversee my spar with Frostbite and at its completion, inform the both of us of areas that we should improve on. I also request that you get to know the other wolves in the warrior tier - unity is important.

Viora: We need food for the upcoming winter, simple as that. Go on a hunt and take as many as you can - feel free to source members from our allies to aid you. Bring down the largest thing you can, but try not to get anybody injured. I want proof that you can lead a team, as we can't survive off small game forever. Drag Magnus with you, if you so desire. He needs to learn too.

Praetor: Son, I have tried to mediate with you. You are wise. Meet with me, and we shall come to an agreement as to what you think would be best for this pack.

Sinclair: It is true that you have been practicing among the pack since you were born. Let us see what our lessons have taught you. Please, go to Diveen and request that you train with a warrior; inform them, too, that they may send another to Glorall for lessons. See what you can learn and teach.

Magnus: When you are not being dragged around by Viora, I want you to choose one other wolf that is not her and hunt together. If I heard correctly, you're a bit anti-social and well, I wish for that to change. Hunt together and learn from one another. Play nicely.

Riven: We shall meet again soon, so keep an eye out for me. We shall discover what it is that will best suit you, though perhaps... it will be something we both do not expect.

Maradona: Learn two things about the pack; converse with strangers and obtain their opinions, converse with fellow pack wolves and learn of their history of aspirations. Whatever method, I wish for you to return with two facts - or theories - about the wolves of Glorall with evidence. A Velite knows how to sift through lies, but also how to get the truth out of their targets.
