PRIME MINISTER'S DECREE

"None." - Leader

The Offspring

Diccon (Cicada x Khar'pern)

Rules

• The Vulcan Peak is where homeless mares come to live as a sisterhood. Stallions may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Warriors keep mainly to fighting, Thinkers keep mainly to raiding, and Politicians may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Codebreaker or Prime Minister for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Prime Minister maintains order within the Peak and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Peak works on the Rules page.

Satitba found the Peak rather dull lately. There wasn't much to do besides scratch on pine trees and count snowflakes. She was still full of youthful energy. The perlino blanket was one of those who needed something to do other than the same boring thing every day. That was why she had not wanted to be a herd mare. Nothing against stallions, but the ones she knew seemed to want to keep them all together and from doing anything worth doing. She had hoped that life on the Peak would be a different thing all together.

But it wasn't. It was the same thing except there wasn't a boy. Satitba couldn't help but wonder if there was some excitement in the idea of a man. Breeding season had of course scared her like it had before. Now, winter had set in and snow was everywhere. At least that made walking an adventure as the usual markers were no more and you really had to watch your step.

Sadly this meant that most of the smarter, more experienced mares stayed in the level areas of the pine forest. But not Satitba who kept her head forward and continued to explore about her home. Sticking her muzzle into anything big enough. She wanted excitement, she wanted adventure. She wanted to do something other than count snowflakes.

Her gaze swept the small area she had found this morning. There was some good grasses still stuck in the cracks and she nibbled on them. Her ears kept sweeping around for the sound of mountain goats, mountain cats (that had been a fun day) or any equines that wanted to approach. She would welcome company.
