Meryl was happy that it seemed she wanted it all to be water under the bridge, and while he would never forget how he felt about her before becoming Daenerys’ imprint he certainly never wished to lose the friend that he had found one day out here at the riverside. He smiled slightly and gave a nod at her words that they were adults, funny as it was to hear, they were both indeed adults. ”Yeah, you are right.” He said giving a small chuckle at that his tail giving a few tentative waves, happy so far that this was becoming progressively less awkward and more like the times they used to have, walking around and just talking while gathering herbs.
”They are fine, thankfully. I was able to patch them up real good so they are fine. But I know what you mean… I don’t want to think of how it would be to lose them, or my mother again.” Ceal never had to know her mother, it was something perhaps they had mentioned once perhaps that she was adopted just as he had been. Unlike Ceal though Meryl did remember his mother, though slowly those memories had been fading he remembered her golden fur, her bright blue eyes.
He shook his head gaze turning back to her once more when she said she would be sure to tell Danny hi for him. ”Yeah, if you want.”” His voice was a little softer, almost sounding hurt that he couldn’t do so himself, but it was how it was and honestly he was happy Daenerys wasn’t around to complicate his relationship again, only this time with Yin. If there was even a relationship to complicate. She was so carefree he didn’t know if she even had any feelings for him in return. Her openness, happiness and energy was given to all. She believed in her part to help others and he was not special for that, though she certainly made him feel special. He gave a soft sigh a smile touching his lips at the thought of the silvery wolfess.
Ceal too seemed happy, talking about how happy she was that they could talk and wondering if there were any rabbits around for them to hunt down. He was about to reply when the soft light steps accompanied by an all too familiar scent came his way causing his head to whip around and chocolate and sky flecked eyes to land upon the very girl he had been thinking about.
”Yin.” He said, not unhappy, not in the slightest but his tones were soft nearly breathless. She seemed confused and there was a spark of something in her pink eyes he wasn’t sure he could put a label on. Jealousy? Hardly he never thought Yin capable of such a feeling. But she was certainly confused and Meryl was now returned at his whole stage of awkward. Staring down two girls that were nearly identical in appearance. Yin seemed bothered by it too, more so than he thought she would be having lived in Diveen for so long, but perhaps that was why.
Swallowing his nerves he spoke up knowing he had to do something to help her to relax to realize that he wasn’t doing something that perhaps he would have thought if he came upon a similar situation. ”I do know her. Yin, this is Ceal, a childhood friend of mine. Ceal, this is Yin.” He introduced trying to keep his voice as steady as possible. What would Yin think? And Ceal? He had never told Yin about the girl before and Ceal he hoped wouldn’t feel replaced. It was all quite the awkward situation.
