Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

She was elated at the thought of pups. She couldn’t completely understand why she was so excited at the prospect of pups but she knew it may come to pass if fate was on their side. To be truthful she was anxious at the thought of being a mother. She wanted to see Castor again to share her thoughts but would he understand? Perhaps but perhaps not either way she would go see him soon enough.

She had little time to think on such matters hearing Warlow stir. He didn’t seem too eager to get up but when he had a little bit of food in him; he was a bit more compliant. He looked like a feathered mess but it was quite alright with her. She didn’t mind a little mess but she knew it would be an interesting job keeping any pups clean which was of amusing humor. She wasn’t left to think long as Warlow nipped her cheek and took off; of course she took his invitation to chase him.

Not too long after their fun began she heard the calling howl of another male. She slowed in pace and took a moment to brush against her mates before turning her attention to the male who was approaching. Her head remained in its normally high posture and tail no longer swayed. She simply looked intently dropping all previous emotions from her time with Warlow. After all it was meant to only be shared with him, this stranger did not deserve that right to know her in this manner. Instead she would allow her eyes to share the emotions she would not so outwardly; would he see and understand?

“It is a pleasant morning; however, but my friend can you assure the shore is more pleasant?” she was intrigued and rather humored. Only the one experiencing it could judge its level of pleasantness, yet referring to the weather was another thing all together. Speaking was a tedious art with other forms of life. With Warlow she had no need to be analytical she could just exist in all that they encompassed. “You may call me Mistletoe, and this is Warlow.” She allowed a smile to cross her maw as she gazes to her love; but it fell away as she returned her gaze to the stranger. “What might your name be; and what do you seek to speak on. Surly you are the steward of this land.” She spoke keeping an intense focus on his gaze. She had faith in Warlow but understood his tendency to be protective. His actions would not worry her... Now to see what this creature has to offer.
