Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

Kaplan .::. Male .::. Adult .::. Soare
Despite the wind, causing the mist to billow and surge, the air remained clouded with millions of the tiny droplets. And it was getting worse. The looming trees - even those closest to the two wolves - were losing their definition, becoming blurred shadows hidden behind veils. The light was leaving though, and soon even the shadows would lose their individuality. It was offsetting, this place. It bore the illusion of being at the core of a great and churning blackened soul. Kaplan had done his tour around this new world, with all the lakes and rivers and cascading falls enveloped in gentle woods. Here it was different. A subtle reminder that darkness lingers in the cracks and festers throughout - sometimes unseen, but then overwhelming… then completely present. The wind tugged at his fur, pushing it up and revealing its thickness: Kap could have curled up in the snow and lasted till morning, shielded by his pelt and the thick layers of muscle that lathered his body. This young wolfess? An uneasy tightness in his stomach told him that she wouldn’t be so lucky. Amongst the elements, Kap battled with his instinct to get her out of here fast and his desire to leave her with her independence at the same time.

She was right of course, not to trust him right off the bat: a glimmer of respect danced in the wolf’s golden eyes. You’ve nothing to fear from me, this I promise, but I won’t pretend that you are wrong to question it. A frown creased that stripped forehead; she would no doubt be determined to refuse his help, but there would be no way Kap would leave her behind in this mess of a night. Let’s go together, for my sake at least, he said in a soft, deep melody. He was mildly impressed that she hadn’t lost her mind and jumped at his offer for help - it showed she was determined, and proud, but also smart; she deserved his respect and therefore the muscular titan did his best to avoid treating her like a victim.

Ears flattened to avoid the cold, Kap shifted his weight back, hopeful she would accept. The mist swirled against his brawn barely noticeable to the stony brute. It was beyond him as to why such a young and pretty girl was taking her chances out here instead of socializing in the multiple meadows. Of greater concern though, was the fae’s injured paw; her cry had strummed an agonizing note within Kaplan. He wanted to reach out to her, let her lean her delicate frame on his sturdy shoulders, take away some of her pain. But he didn’t, above all she must feel in control of her own situation. The tiger-coated wolf was no hero and he didn’t go looking for recognition, only the chance to help. Only the snow retained its icy glitter, night had plunged them into a fierce solitude, so much so that Kaplan couldn’t ignore the fear that soon he would lose sight of the girl, same as he had lost sight of so much else.

OOC: sorry it took so long! And its short D:
