The smoky brute was glad that the two had found a safe spot deep within the caverns as he leaned in closer to the cream colored ess next to him. He instantly felt bad for his actions when he felt Cora pull away from him. He did not mean to offend her with his actions, it had just…felt right…or so he thought. But the two had just met and he had to admit to himself that he may be moving too quickly and advancing too soon on the girl before him, and he did not want to scare her away, so he backed away as well, wanting her to know that he respected whatever it was that she was comfortable with and he would not even consider crossing those lines. He looked at her apologetically, but was too afraid to speak of his actions, and instead fell silent until Cora continued the conversation on by asking about his family.

It made Summer sad for a moment to think about his family. He still felt extremely guilty for how things happened with his only younger sibling Rickon. Surely he should have been able to keep track of one lupine? He could only pray that someone kind found him to take care of him or that he had someone matured enough to take care of himself, but Summer greatly doubted that of his young brother. And with his other brothers at war he was afraid to think about what had become of them, especially with how arrogant and foolish is eldest could be now that he was in a place of power. Summer was afraid that Grey Wind’s attitude would have gotten himself killed, unless he had some other fate come of him. Once the smoky brute was done telling his tale he immediately asked Cora of her life, not wanting to think anymore of his family.

Cora’s brows had furrowed while Summer spoke, “That is horrible. I am so sorry about that. Especially as you have no idea where they are.” He sighed deeply, not meeting her gaze as he spoke, ”Yes it is difficult but it is what it is I guess. I can only hope that I will find them again someday, safe and sound.” The creamy ess then continued to speak of her tale, “Let’s see. I was born and raised from my mother. I lived, and still live, as a loner, while my mother kept wanting us to move. I had a sister, but she left at the same time I did. We were about teens, my something was happening with my mother. She wouldn’t want to stop, even if we didn’t have the energy to keep moving. Soon, it came to where I didn’t want to do this anymore, but I didn’t know how to break away. My sister left a long time before I did. We had travelled so far, I didn’t know what my dam was afraid of anymore. Then I left, and spent a year doing things on my own. I stayed in one place for a week or so, then kept moving. I found Blossom, which was a huge change. Here I am.” Her green orbs looked up to the ceiling as Summer pondered her words. He was glad that she had made her way to Blossom, but he was afraid of being too bold and kept is thoughts to himself for now. ”I’m sorry you are no longer with your family either. Do you ever think you will seek them out again?” He hoped she did not take his words to mean that he did not think the life of a loner was a good one, everyone preferred their own settings; he knew in particular that Rickon would never want to be a pack wolf and that he would always prefer to be on his own, and to Summer there was nothing wrong with that.

When the conversation died down Cora again asked Summer of his life, “Are you a pack wolf, Summer?” He smiled at her as he spoke, nodding his head, ”Yes I am. I am part of pack called Bright Moon. Besides the pack I grew up this is the only pack I have been a part of. I’m sad to say that it seems to be pretty dead right now, not many are active at the moment, but I guess everyone is pretty busy with their own lives which is quite understandable. It just…doesn’t entirely feel like home like my old pack did. Don’t get me wrong, I’m loyal to my pack and to my alpha, but it just doesn’t have the feeling of home. I don’t really have any friends there, or any friends at all actually.” He gave her an embarrassed smile at his ending words before continuing, ”I know you don’t belong to a pack but is it something you plan on doing at any point? Or do you prefer to be on your own?” His yellow orbs looked at her green ones as he waited to hear more about this pretty female’s life.
