They possibly could have been shad, too small for carp. I did see shad around in shallow water but the coloring on a lot of the fish I saw was very distinct of black crappie. Anyway, the crappie's were not very hungry that night but the water was perfect. Had 72 degrees on my Eagle with good clarity. Gonna start some Eye trolling this week, will post results.
