Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

How odd that they might find each other in such a place, in such a time. Perhaps it had been... negligent on her behalf, having ignored him for what seemed like far too long. What mattered - or so she thought - is that she had come now. Within her, she had always thought she felt a small part of him flutter about but that part had always been care free, steady even; now, it was a cold, devoid space within her. If she had been negligent then she could only hope that her being there now would be some apology. Part of her knew that problem was bigger than her, that she could not entirely comprehend it but she had to try. After all, she'd never lost a parent. She'd never lost Brooke or a father she never had - she hadn't even lost Heyel. The losses she had were no match to that of a family.

Usually, she would have been impatient but now, she allowed the silence to ebb on between the two of them for as long as he needed. It simply felt right to allow him that justice, and she mirrored his actions when he turned to face her. When his words came, her ears fell back and her brows instantly furrowed in thought and concern. It was a difficult situation and suddenly, his sadness meant much more than a loss. It would be one thing to lose one's family but another to stay, seeing their end's face every day. For a moment, she was inclined to look away in thought, attempting to gather all the variables into one logical string before she spoke. This is the one time she was truly afraid of messing up her words.

"It'd be more wrong for there to not be a drop of their legacy on that mountain."

She paused, turning once more to face him - a smile of sorts began to form, weak and sad but undoubtedly there. She poked closer to him, getting onto his level better as she shuffled towards him.

"You've got to protect your home for when your family comes back. Serving is one thing, but, well... loving is another, right? Do it for them."

If she had heard correctly, then there had been talk of two of his relations already being situated in Diveen. Surely they'd want to return home one day - they were, after all, one of the oldest families to have graced Moladion. They verged on older than even Heyel's family. It made no sense to her that they'd disperse from their family home without a fight... or maybe Purge had scared them off the idea? She sighed in defeat, shaking her head slowly to try dispel her confusion.

"Did you get to... say goodbye?"
