In her self-induced panic Natu overlooks the gray figure that was moving only a few feet from where she left her den; it is only as the snow sprays around her face that she jerks around to face Sleekwing, her teeth bared and icy blue eyes glaring. It is not her normal greeting to others but Lilith had done a number on her. It wouldn't surprise her how many sick wolves traipsed across these lands only to make others suffer. Her wounds throbbed almost in agreement. They had long since healed although the scars were puckered and still stiff but things had changed in her life - well, not so much her life as within herself. She did not feel the same as before. And now she was doing things without remembering, perhaps becoming one of the very sick wolves she had just been thinking of.

She is quick to recognize Sleekwing as a member of Spirane but only because she had seen him at Purge's call. From the gathering she had pieced together that he was the son of Moonglow and Alcide. She had not thought overmuch about it but looking upon him now she is struck by how hardy he must be to remain in Spirane knowing that his parents would never walk the mountains again. It had been so long since she had lost her own parents but she had not forgotten the emptiness that comes with death. Nay, she had once had her own loves but their lives were fleeting in the midst of time. All that was left for Natu was her sanity and it felt as if that too was being taken away from her.

Natu's ears fall back in embarrassment - for both having been caught panicking and for snarling at him. She holds her breath for a beat to calm her racing heart before sighing gently and glancing once more at her stained coat. "It is nice to finally meet you, Sleekwing. I am Natu. I......" she falters for a moment, uncertain if she should mention anything to this male. Just because he was from Spirane didn't mean he had any loyalties to any of its members - especially since they were all just leapfrogging about with leaders.

"I'm alright now." Finally she answers and it is truthful. For the moment she knew what was going on so she wasn't that far off the mark. Telling a stranger "hey I have been losing time and waking up with blood all over me" was probably not the best way to start off their friendship. Suddenly her ears prick and she looks down at the snow before smiling, a genuine smile. "It appears winter is already upon us!" Once more her gaze focuses upon Sleekwing. "What brings you so far up the mountain, Sleekwing?"
