Sanae sat on top of the rock still licking her paws clean when another female had drawn near. She was a pretty mix of golds and creams and black. She seemed to be of the friendly sort and her voice matched the light atmosphere she exuded. Sanae still felt a bit nervous though, wondering if it may just be an act to coax her into letting her guard down. Maybe this female was the one who left the fish here that she found.

Sanae began to feel a sudden rush of guilt after the female had said hello. "Oh, umm, hi... I'm so sorry if those were your fish..." her voice trails off and she uses her nose to signal towards the scraps that lay on the rock just past her own stained paws. "I-I'll find a way to replace them. I was just..." she sudenly stops herself from saying anymore and shakes her head. She couldn't believe that from a simple hello, she was about to just cower down and give up her weakness. She never was too good at hunting and fared better as a gatherer or scavenger.

Emerald eyes watch the other female for a moment before she mentions Sanae's unfamiliar scent. She pulls herself up into a sitting position and wraps her tail around her haunches as she shyly looks herself over. "Yeah I am, just arrived a few days ago." her voice was suddenly not as shaky and allowed more of her accent to show through. She appeared to of calmed down at the females inquiry but still held a slight tone of uncertainty to it. She didn't know how many packs could be found here. And was completely oblivious to the fact that to either end of the river there were two packs.

Shake off all your sins and give them up to me...
