Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Nord continued to walk along with no real destination in mind. There were a few things he could have been doing like hunting or something, but that could wait. Winter wasn't exactly in full swing yet and he was fairly confident that he could find enough to last him through the season. He always had been able to, anyway. The lanky wolf never had much trouble taking care of himself and he had lived in the mountains where the winters had been much harder. A wind blew overhead, rustling the empty branches of the trees up above, clearly defined lines against a blue sky. Nord glanced upwards, watching as the branches danced in the wind, before the gust eventually died out and left them still again. It was then that the soft bark caused him to turn around, the fur raising along his back almost involuntarily.

However he recognized who it was almost immediately, and his body relaxed. Nord waved his tail in greeting, watching her as she closed the gap between them. They had met a long time ago, pretty much when he had first come to Moladion. They had talked for a while, about him mostly, before they had gone their separate ways. What she had said had spurred a change in him, however slow, he was quite different now from when they met by the riverside. He was happy to see that she was alive and well.

"Yeah, i-it is!" Nord said, an excited response to her greeting. "I, uh, like winter a lot." He smiled. Though his stuttered way of talking still remained and would likely stay with him for a long time, it was clear that he was a lot more confident than he had been. He was older now too, more mature than he had been when they met. He had changed a lot from when Mistletoe last saw him, and for the better, too. He tilted his head and looked at her, a smile still on his maw. She looked well and he was happy to see that, despite the fact they had only spoken once he still considered her a friend.

"I trust life has been t-treating you well? It's, um, quite the coincidence for us to meet again." The male said, his ocean blue eyes fixed on the female. There was something different about her but he couldn't quite place his paw on it... perhaps it was just because he hadn't seen her in so long.
