Peace isn't a permanent state, it exists in moments

Extremely annoyed muscles rippled across her soft damp skin

Pale blonde eyelashes fluttered open allowing alluring ocean blues to focus on the storm that had hit a while ago causing the pearlino to stand in shelter. Her stomach swollen to the point of exploding making moving any amount of distance was rather uncomfortable and Sylvia preferred not to. Over the years of raising Claire until adulthood and then not bothering to have another foal until now when her dearly beloved finally returned Sylvia also wondered only for a second if she rushed into far too soon.

Months had again gone by since the departure of Midas and she once again was beginning to worry

Her beloved one and only assured her that he would return and it was only on business this time for his reasoning of leaving instead of following the lost soul of another woman who did not want to stay and be a part of not only a herd but a family. Everything about the sudden departure of Midas was discussed and figured out and Sylvia would have followed him if they hadn’t assumed that she would have wound up pregnant.

Over time though her concerns were starting to over whelm her making Sylvia restless

In the beginning she spent most of her time in the paradise with Sahin visiting with her kind aureate spotted friend but as the months drug on and winter started to end Sylvia found herself back in the ridge the home Midas had built for them and this was where she wanted to give. It would be the place she raised her child with whomever lead the land given he wasn’t a monster and wouldn’t’ chase her child away once it was of age. Of course by then if the worst happened and Midas did not return when he was suppose to here at any time – Sylvia would probably find herself becoming a permeate mare of Sahin’s that’s of course – if he’d have her

Shifting again Sylvia is finally able to notice the crumbled over siloutte of stallion who from where she stood enjoyed laying in the rain. It reminded her of when she was younger or even now if she wasn’t carrying a life inside of her she would be doing the exact same. In fact it was thee thing she was doing when Midas found her and for some reason the memory stirred the ache in her heart for him inside her and despite she saw a lone mare come to his assistance Sylvia moved forward towards them feeling the cold rain run from her chin and ends of her tendrils as she came neared to them nickering before pausing

Dropping her head in a polite fashion Sylvia desperately wanted to lay with the unknown man

It would be far more comfortable then standing although our prudent queen knew far better and so she stood looking at the petite regal girl who held herself with genuine pride. Everything about this nameless girl is admirable and the man laying below them – he looked defeated and Sylvia’s heart instantly went out to him knowing that not so very long ago –she was him just exactly that ”I’ve been where you are my dear which is why I wonder if there is anything I could do to help” looking at the girl as well Sylvia smiled ”the both of you”
Surely having her offer such a thing in someone else’s home would seem strange

The mere thought allowed Sylvia to smile to herself in kind silence, however she wasn’t leaving. The ridge was her home at heart – based strictly on it was the place that she found life again, created life inside of her and this is the place where she was waiting for her life to come back to here again

Now all that’s needed is for these hopeful kind horses to allow her to stay and just maybe creature friendships this dreary lonesome day

You're my end and my beginning

Even when I lose I'm winning
