The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Sinclair had been right about one thing, at least, as far as Cersei knew. It was a known fact to her that both her parents were protective, though they often took a more back-seat approach to it. After all, it had been their desire that their children to grow to be independent, capable of watching out for themselves lest they ever wish to take that path. Would her father ever attack Sinclair, though? She doubted it. She'd always doubted it. After all, he had been impressed from the first time he met the boy - that had been partially why Cersei had desired closeness with him. She wanted to know that somebody, that special boy who could even capture the attention of her parents. What had happened from then on had just been... lucky, really. She always considered herself lucky when it came to Sinclair. Why else would someone like him want to hang around her so much? Even she knew her energy often got tiring for those that weren't so... enthusiastic about everything.

Some part of her wanted to let him know that, because even she had noticed his tension whenever Tesseract was around. She wanted him to be able to relax and just be himself rather than withdrawing away from them. If she... liked him so much, then it only made sense that the rest of her family would too! Maybe she'd get the chance today. It was the first time that they really got to spend time alone together away from the pack and from all the eyes and ears of her family and others. They were everywhere in Glorall but here, she felt so much less weighed down. Yes, today she'd finally be able to be completely honest! She just hoped Sinclair wasn't... scared by it. As much as she understood the possibility, she still didn't think she was ready for that kind of rejection.

"Ummm, duh! Of course I want to explore it with you. That's why we're here right?"

She cocked a brow in question, a rather cheeky smile building in her features as she ambled after him. It seemed she was right! He was already moving into the great abyss, and she reveled in the idea of being some of the first wolves there. Maybe they could name it! The thought of that made her tail wave even more so as she followed his suit, bounding over the crack and landing with a gentle thud.

"I'm just waiting for your slow butt to get moving! Are you stalling?"

She snorted teasingly, sticking her tongue out in a jester-like expression as she moved up beside him. She peeked into the darkness once more, gazing towards him as she dipped her skull, stepping aside as she motioned forward.

"After you, brave explorer."

She wanted to make this fun. She wanted this to be a day that she would remember forever, and for more than just the excitement of exploring a new place.
